ImaPirate I've only heard Cass's German dub, which I've seen a number of people complaining about. I honestly don't understand why; I love him in German, although he does sound distinctly different than Misha. Actually it's Dean's voice that bugs me in the German version. Not so much that it's bad, just that it's so high and different from Jensen's voice that I can't focus on anything he's saying. xD
I fucking love misha collins, he gets cas so well :') I agreed 100% on love and belonging being cas's driving 'need' and that it's sad because he is naturally a loner who doesn't belong. also agree with the lady who asked the question about cas choosing between heaven and earth (misha is so right, the answer has been earth for a while now) that I had a bit of a problem with bob singer calling cas 'homeless'. if he meant that cas doesn't feel any connections to any physical locations then yes, I agree, the bunker could get blown up tomorrow and he wouldn't care as long as the boys were OK. but I think that cas does feel a sense of home, and it's tied up with his sense of family. sam and dean are his family anyway, but as he's severed practically all ties with heaven I reckon that his need for sam and dean to be his family is even stronger. so while he's certainly a very individual and introverted character, bob's description of cas didn't quite feel right to me. obviously bob knows what he's on about though. of course, all of this about cas needing love and family and support just makes the current storyline more heartbreaking :'(
