As an electrical engineer I state that 90% is pure marketing talk and is not backed up by reproducible proof and measurements. Check the videos from Amir (audio science) and Audioholics where they provide the proof and measurements. Yes they call it snake oil and I agree. But of course, cables are like jewelry many guys.
The usual suspect is the people that make the TV....They give you some wiz-bang,, best thing since sliced bread screen....and when you go around back you're lucky if you have a 3.5 mm walkman headphone jack..Company couldn't see its way clear to provide some rca audio output jacks for that 5 minute hookup to a decent amplifier..
We feel your pain - compressed recordings can be a letdown. But even then, great cables can help you squeeze every last drop of quality out of them. Worth a try!
@@Architechne “Squeeze every last drop of quality out of them” As if bad and compressed recordings will suddenly become open, dynamic and audiophile because of cables😂
Oof, ya that’s frustrating! Solid core cables can be tricky, but quality and build design matter a lot. Garth touches on durability in the video - might be worth a watch!

I'm glad we all use Sonos so we don't have to worry about any of this
Is that a joke 😂
@@nesq4104 Yes it is. No one uses Sonos. It sucks
@@nesq4104 I'm guessing they upgraded from Bose. Pretend audiophile

Garth Powell deserves to be in prison for lying to people and selling snake oil to his customers. Karma will come for AudioQuest
Because most of the recordings suck.
Hopelessly compressed.
Exactly

Snake oil!
Fair enough! But before calling it ‘snake oil,’ give Garth a chance to explain the science, he might surprise you 😉
@@Architechne Nope, he still is a snake oil salesman
@@Architechne yeah I listened carefully , and there is nothing of science on it , just shameless egoistic greed
I hope these guys come up with audiophile fiber and cat6 cables so i can convince my isp to replace their lines with those. 🤡🤡🤡
The worse cables I ever owned solid core and of course broke.

well if power cables are important then what about the electric wiring inside the walls ? shouldn't also be changed?, this is conmen BS
