scout would definitely do that! the fact that he didn't realize his hands were torn... ouch for him. the detail of the finger actually ripping out (or is that really just magic considering he didn't bleed) and the timing when scout got a crit, so good! (the subtitle at 0:23 as well... if only...)

Yes, that's something that I really praise Valve for. The teams are the same, but their locations and building materials are always different. While RED always feels warm and bright, BLU will make their bases in cold, dark places... it's really neat.
