    For the life of me, I can’t get a hang of the diagonal clove hitch knot!! I’ve watched the steps over and over and over, and I feel like I’m doing it right, but the knots don’t come out looking like in the video at all! It should be really easy, especially since the steps are easy to and in slow mo, so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. ☹️

      I figured it out! I had to watch some other videos on the basic clove hitch knot before it clicked

    I'd really like a direct link to the exact cord. so far I'm about three different cords and they're all too stiff to work with, except for on-- it's too floppy. Spare me the agony of buying a fourth wrong cord 😭. I followed the link in your description and it just took me to a page with many different decisions!

    ... So I just tried to do this and it didn't work. I bought the string from Michaels and it said macrame on it and said 3 mmeters but it seems like it's a lot stiffer than the one that is being used here.

    I'm a little lost on the size of cord...did you use the 3 mm or divide the 3 mm into 1 mm portions?

    • @marieresuahlow598
      @marieresuahlow598 4 года назад +2

      3mm, the smaller cord is just to hang the ornament (8:35)

    could this be made with paracord?

    • @Jennuuh
      @Jennuuh 5 лет назад

      I bet it could! I would just assume there might be small openings in some of the knots since paracord is a different texture than the stuff she is using.

    Your fingers are in the way it's hard to see the knots. Maybe this works if your not a beginner.
