Oikawa and Iwaizumi are like a duo; just like Hinata-Kageyama, Asahi-Nishinoya. Even if it's a tiny detail, I won't spoil why they're close, but they have this special strong bond not just in everyday life, but also in vball. Oikawa and Iwaizumi were Kageyama's senpais in junior high, so he learned a lot of stuff from them. If you would think of them as family, Kageyama inherited his setter ambition from Oikawa, and he got his love language (cough-violence-cough) from Iwaizumi. Both Kageyama and Iwaizumi calls their best friend "idiot, trash, crap, shitty". And when they think their best friend says something stupid, they hit them in the head or throw them far away like they're trash hahaha
"Why am I supporting this team?" That's Haikyuu for ya!😆 Get ready to be rooting for both sides and empathize with each opponent and side character! I love it so much that there's no villains in Haikyuu, just respectable opponents with similar passion for the sport and the determination to win. Winners and Losers is such an amazing episode, showing us both the joy of winning and the pain of losing. It's just a bunch of teenagers coming together to enjoy volleyball and fight with everything they've learned and practiced, but there's always going to be winners and losers regardless of how well everyone does. I also really like how they kinda show that losing isn't necessarily all bad, because it can be a wake-up call, and the regret and frustration can motivate you to do better next time, and they're also a testament of your passion and love for the sport. I also loved Hinata's disbelief turning into pure excitement as it dawns on him that they've actually won and get to play more. It's his first time so of course he's excited and overjoyed, and I love how it's kind of contagious and Kageyama who's won many times before becomes visibly excited too.

glad you are enjoying Hypekuu and I am really enjoying your reaction too - a fan from China. Just give you a little more info, there are two national tournaments each year so there will be two qualification tournament for the prefecture. One in Jun (the Inter-high) which is what they are playing, and there will be another one in Jan(Spring tournament). After inter-high 3rd years can choose to stay for Spring tournament, or some will retire in order to preprare for university or job seeking
