My heart was sad for me for the first few hours, but deep down I was also so happy for them that they were so strong and were able to admit that they need to take this step for themselves. Dear dxwxt, You are right! They gave so much joy and happiness to us with their music. They should get all our support and positive energy and independent if they go for a while for their solo projects: They are still BTS !!!!! and they will come back!!!!
The fact that they are doing this at the very peak of their career and success, it really shows that they are burnt out right now. They need this break guys. It's easier to take a break as a solo artist and do things at your own pace but when you're in a group especially these guys are like brothers, I'm sure there were many times they just took one for the sake of the team. I really broke down when RM spoke, with all his extra responsibilities he really felt weight of it. It's like they said "Run BTS will continue"
Ngl we all cried. But I feel this break was really needed. Like as a group going continuously for 9 years is not easy, and as hobi said they are kinda going solo and spending more time on their own to come back as one again. I'm quite excited as to what members will put out as music, it would be eventful to listen to their works and seeing the individuality and uniqueness in each one of them. Just wishing the best for BTS and nothing more!

so apparently they are not going on a hiatus like HYBE officially stated, they will have their solo projects aswell as their group projects they will be still together, it’s just that they will not have a comeback or produce an album as a group
and while in solo-works mode, for now, they will be promoting their albums so we won't see group interviews, group choreography/performances for a stretch
but even if they were going into hiatus we would still respect that decision and be happy for them 💜
Hybe released a statement saying that bts isn’t going on a hiatus, but from now on, they will focus more on their solo work, j-hope said he will be releasing an album soon, bts ended chapter 1 of their journey and now they are starting chapter 2 with solo songs. 😁 I know bts has a bright future, everything happens for a reason, bts has worked hard for years, they deserve some rest. I wish them the best 💜

@@margaret7504 well k-armys on Twitter also said that bts never said they were going on a hiatus, in the English translation yoongi said the word hiatus but apparently the translation was wrong, k-army’s said that he didn’t actually said hiatus. Basically Yoongi said “우리가 어쨌든 off 기간에 들어섰잖아” where the term ‘hiatus’ was used. His words directly translate to “we, anyhow, have entered our “off period,” right?”. So yoongi never said hiatus, the translation was just off.

Hybe released that statement because everyone was being over dramatic and loosing their minds. But their plan is to still, focus on themselves and solo work and there’s nothing wrong with that. They need time to discover themselves outside of their group. They should be able to travel, have friends, and have fun without issue. They deserve that time.
@@IGleeker i agree, this break is something they deserve, and I really hope they discover who they are and find their sound. The members have worked hard for years, I’ve been a fan since 2014 so I know they are probably also burned out, in their documentaries they have said that there was no such thing as a holiday for them and they barely spent time with their families because they were working, the members really need this break, I hope they are happy and that their future solo projects are successful, I support all their decisions.

I love this. It’s so true, they inspire so many people, and yet they also manage to stay so humble and grounded. In that kind of industry it’s such a rare thing. They’re a credit to themselves, good humans for sure.

Seeing the other members cries is normalised for me but not to Namjoon when I feel like his voice is started cracking and Seeing him in tears is literally I broke down and cried from the top of my lungs I just can't 😭

Army there's something I need to say. I don't know if I opened up about this on this channel before, but I am a survivor of domestic and mental abuse from age 2-14 by my own parents. I don't want to get too into that for obvious reasons but let's just say I feel physically and mentally damaged. I feel like I'm not a person, I'm just a human punching bag for people to do whatever they want with me, even my own blood. So the saying that Bts finds us when we need them the most is so true. I was hours away from suicide and I heard a Bts song playing in the mall I was in that day. It was Dynamite. I immediately forgot about everything that was going on with me and just enjoyed those 3 minutes like it was forever. I went home and instead of going through what I had planned, I looked up who Dynamite was by and the rest is history. I immediately listened to song after song, music video after music video, crack video after crack video and eventually made it a goal to tell them apart. It'll be a year in July for when they first found me and I wish I could go back to that day. As I'm sure most of you have already watched the 2022 Bts Festa and I'm not going to lie. It left me feeling sad and bawling my eyes out and immediately had a PTSD episode. My grandma came into my room and asked me what was wrong and I just said that everything was okay. She wanted to take me back to my therapist immediately but I convinced her I was fine.The first thing that came to my mind when Bts said they were going solo for a little bit, it just made me think that another person was leaving me, just like my parents, just like my friends, just like my sister, etc. And I know that's so selfish of me so you don't have to tell me that, especially since they've been through so much as well so I should relate to how they feel. I just can’t imagine my life without them and I realize they are a huge part of my life. So I know that Bts said that they will eventually come back and be better than ever. But I just have so much fear in my head that that will not happen. What if they like their solo careers better? What if they go to the military and they realize that this is a good place to end? I know, I’m being very selfish again. If I went to the military, the last thing I would want is to do anything again so I would make a horrible kpop idol. But Bts has become people that I watch everyday and just relate to. I feel closer to them than to my so-called parents and sister which is just as bad as it is good. Because when they do eventually resign as Bts, I will feel empty again with nothing really to fill that void. And one thing I hate about whenever I comment about things like this, I get attacked by so called Army and they respond by saying things like “Right now let’s focus on the good things that are coming like solo albums. No more negativity” I can’t even comment about my personal struggles without getting completely ignored. And some Army’s have a habit that I don’t like of sometimes being overly positive. Like if you say something totally valid like “Bts got robbed at the Scammy’s again” They will just reply to stop looking at the negatives and focus on the positives. No. You're allowed to be upset, you’re allowed to be angry about something that is soooo valid. Like WTF? But this is getting way too long so for those who read all the way through, Kamsahamnida. Thank you for everything that you have done for us Bts and Army, thank you for never giving up on them when I wasn’t an Army and had no idea who they were. I will always love and support them for as long as I live. Love you all
It was a beautiful and sad to watch. I've been ARMY for 7 years now and I can personally say I've grown and developed as an individual in that time. To see them so worried about how ARMY would react to them wanting to do the same was gut wrenching. I wish them all the best in the next phase of growth and will continue to walk side by side with the individual members and the group. ARMY WILL STAY UNITED WITH BTS ALWAYS 💜

They are not disbanding everyone, they are taking a break to focus more on their solo albums that they have been hinting to RELEASED for a while now. I enjoyed watching the whole Bts Festa 2022 with you. They all need a break! We can all look forward to 7 amazing solo albums!!! I am sure this extremely hard for them. I am quessing their military obligations are weighing heavily on all of them. I have been with them since 2016 and I don't think they have ever taken a proper break. I am so happy for them! Jimin has a habit of drinking water or drinking alcohol when he holds back his tears. Throughout the video, it was even more heartbreaking to see other members worried about Jimin, and when Jimin couldn't hold back his tears and cried, the other members began to cry. There are too many haters, especially for bts. BTS has always told us that it is okay, but they seem to be very hard and difficult because they are human. The members were talking about wanting to do bon voyage again during their festa shoot that was filmed just a few weeks back. I’m excited to see them as a group just as much as individuals instead of it being 95% group & 5% solo work it can be more even now with some group albums/concerts being relieved so they can be more equal.

Honestly I was crying so much while watching this video.
Bangtan has been the constant line for the last 6 almost 7years of my life. When my life had ups and downs they where the constants I needed.
I kinda expected this decision, to take a break as a group and focus on the individual, but still it feels like a really big change and is scary to think about.
I'm happy for all the members to be able to grow on their own and be able to find themselves without having the need to pressure things down because the group is the priority (if that even makes sense).
But it still freakes me out a bit since I am also at a point of my life where I will make a lot of decisions and a lot of things will change. Not having the known stabelizer in times where I need it but a slightly different one is going to be a challenge.

It's not a hiatus. They are trying out new things focusing on the individual but they will still do group stuffs together. Better than some bands who never announce disbandment or hiatus yet released 0 new music for years and years and years.

I think this is for the best. They can work on the solo stuff while they all go through their military service. This way we are still getting content, they kind of get a break, and also get to grow more as individuals. They are still doing some group things but I feel for what is going to be happening soon with their military service this is the best way to do it!

Feeling so many things right now, seeing them especially Joon cry like that got to me but This is well needed. As emotional as I am I don’t want them to ever tire themselves out, they really deserve and need a little break. All they have ever done is work, provide and do things for Army, they always put us before themselves and I think it’s about time they put themselves first, find themselves as individuals again and Experience things that they haven’t done before and do whatever makes them happy, because when they are happy we are happy. As long as we remember that They are not going anywhere, they will always be 7 but if they want to be doing this for along time then a break is necessary, we cannot expect them to work like machines for another 10 strait years without a rest, it just wouldn’t work. We will always stay with them and support any decisions they make. I’m excited to hear the solo albums and I am so happy that RUN BTS is returning! Something to look forward too. Just remember BTS you are always our number one, we will always be here waiting for you, try to remember Armys, it’s not a goodbye, they are still together, they aren’t going on hiatus, they are still doing group projects as well as individual projects however we just won’t see any interviews, live performances or hear any music from them as a group for the time being, all we can do is continue to support them and respect their decisions and wait for them to come back stronger than ever as a group.. I have been crying for hours.
It's hard to imagine that I found out about this on the way to work, and then when I went to the toilet I watched the cut of festa, and then I started to lose control of my emotions. Although I finally refrained from walking out of the toilet to continue working, I still cried for a while when no one saw me. When I finally got off work and walked out of the store I started calling my mom, crying as I walked. When I got home my mom's bluetooth speaker was waiting for me with young forever, and I cried again. Right now I'm watching festa and I really don't know how swollen my eyes will be when I go to work tomorrow.

I am not sure if any one member could release an album which is a financial product as opposed to releasing a mixtape which is essentially a gift of one's creativity without kind of showing up the rest of the group had this hiatus not occurred. I know all have been working on multiple individual tracks. So having a hiatus may be what is needed for each to market his individual talents and gain whatever individual accolades come with that. The results should be rewarding for each member and presumably for ARMY. That said I felt an emotional thud due to the fact this announcement followed Yet to Come mere days after its release. I guess the song may wind up accurate, but it was not how I interpreted it so I think I will feel a bit empty for a while.
