I'm hoping ALL these beautiful sisters would be rocking their own grown hair. That comes with the territory. All natural black beautiful women. In the 60's- 80's it was rare seeing a young black woman with fake hair ,and we were just as beautiful as these ladies rocking our own hair. Be it short to long, straight,wavy to nappy. Some older black women did wear wigs. Women of my mother's age. Also the brothers back then didn't like fake hair and would call you out. They loved us beautiful Queens whether our hair was short or long.
I mean that annual million dollar donation gotta come from somewhere. The ousted former supreme put them in the red when she stole like $2mill. The current supreme Basileus, who was tamiouchas (treasurer) at the time, oversaw it. It’s all about money and getting as many girls with hope that at least a few become someone they can brag on. One can go from campus to campus and see there’s barely sisterhood within the pink and green org.

In addition, if we have the capacity to raise over one million dollars in ONE day to continue to support HBCU'S THREE years in a row, we have the capacity to ensure that our organization will be financially viable and solid. We have educational endowments, scholarships and fellowships under a separate arm of the organization called EAF. Hence, we are not financially ignorant. Trust me, we are not in the red by any stretch of the imagination..
