Absolutely love this. The living room is awesome with those big windows. I even like the green interior. ❤. The master bedroom upstairs is what I envision for myself.
FANTASTIC!!! This is probably the best one i have seen so far. Only a couple changes to make it mine. Switch places with the laundry room and bathroom. Add a 2 car garage with a work area. Access through the laundry room. The bedroom in the ground floor, at the back of the house.... Move it so you can put a hallway between the bedrooms for access to them instead of walking out into the livingroom. GREAT JOB ON THIS ONE!! OH..... and maybe do the outside of the house in gray stone and cedar. ❤ EDIT: a balcony for the upstairs master bedroom for morning coffee would be sweet too. 😉
Absolutely outstanding house I especially like the the laundry room by the entrance as I live in snow country, the only thing I would add would be a small personal elevator as I have a hard time with stairs.
Needs a half bath for guests. Maybe narrow the foyer, widen laundry room, add a toilet. I hate front load washers, no to the stack. Under the stairs could be used for storage, pantry over flow, coffee bar, etc.
Stunning home. The main room with two-story window is impressive. Ample living and storage space. I would consider a full entry closet to hide the mess and clutter of four-season outer wear storage. When would it be convenient for me to stop by to pick up the keys?
Love this home! Are the 2 downstairs bedrooms with a queen bed and are the rooms of the same size? The white bed room seemed a tad larger. Great use if space! Love the great room and largely open concept living area. Would change the fireplace out with a wood burning stove with oven and probably eliminate one of the tubs (upstairs) in favor of a shower but otherwise, I see no other needs of changes
Like you, I'd change the heat-wasting open fireplace for a woodstove, and I'd personally want a shower in the master suite. I'd also try to realign doorways so that the living room isn't staring straight into the bathroom. The rooms are all a good size and the plan is a good one.
I'm not a fan of the outside of the house. It looks like a bunch of add ons were placed on a once small cabin. The decor is also not of my design, and why is there a door in front of the bathtub? The good news is that the floor plan itself is wonderful, great space in all the rooms, though the bathroom could be a few feet wider.
Too many different finishes on the exterior, low backed sofas are a nightmare, 2 sets of doors to the patio in the DR are unnecessary, and the TV will get knocked over.
I love this cottage

Beautiful ❤
Some of the colour inside I would change but for a cottage it would be great

Could the exterior’s stone wall be easily changed out for log, wood or brick?

@@Bobrogers99 Yes, I didn’t care for that bathroom deal either. The door would have to be kept shut.
The roof line what's called a roofer nightmare. Could cause ice dams in all the many valleys resulting in structural integrity.

And when you build it you can fix all that to suit yourself!
