When you arm wrestle it is like winding up an enormous amount of pressure on the lower section of your humerus (Just above the elbow) when you push and especially pull in this instant eventually it gives way and breaks.

I was armwrestling a friend at work and after 4 minutes we both went for it and thats when I heard the "snap" that I heard on the show. When I heard that snap on the footy show, it brought back those awful memories and I felt this heat take over my body. It was as if I went through some sort of post traumatic shock. I now have a titanium plate and although my strength in that arm isnt what it used to be, it hasnt stopped me. I went to a great doctor called Mathew Giblin in Liverpool. He is a specialist in this and will look after you. A word of advice. I was on pethadine after the operation to manage the pain, but it is an addictive drug, so try and get off any pain medication as soon as you can. You are tough mate, so just deal with the pain. It will go away after 4-6 months as you stretch the muscles in your Physio sessions. I have never arm wrestled again. Stay strong Ben!

So, they showed it on Ch9 "as is" in Melbourne later (the show starts here at about 10:45pm). They're lucky they switched cameras to the rear shot right when it happened.
