i tried everything to get my lcd to display. when the display is not plugged in other people's GPIO port will display pixel nodes on the screen, but mine does not, until i watched this video and the simple thing i need to do is tighten the screw on the module behind:))
hello, sorry I'm worried I think they sold me faulty devices, I have the lcd screen with the i2c module, I did several tutorials on youtube to test that screen with an arduino uno r3 and nothing, I thought it was my arduino but I did the test with the led13 and a hcsr04 sensor and it worked, it blinked like in the tutorials, but when I wanted to see the serial monitor something totally strange appeared, strange hieroglyphics and my lcd screen did not show data but the led did blink while I brought my hand closer to the ultrasonic sensor, and the screen I tried to turn the potentiometer but still nothing appeared, I don't know if you could help me please.
@@TeachMeSomething yes lcd is working using your text code .but what about other codes like scrolling and all those are still not working . please give fix for that

But in my case the display is showing all data while running its gives blcoks blocks and when I switch it off and switch on it gives correct data

The potentiometer is all the way on one side still the text is barely visible i even cross checked the address, it is correct still nothing
Pot should not be in one side.it should be adjusted based on requirement.

Connect the wire correctly.
SDA - A4
SCL - A5
5V - 5v
Gnd - Gnd
Check wire loose connection.
If nothing works, change new wire and try

Only a single letter is printed from a text. Example: "w" from "welcome", how to solve this problem.
Check program. Check your library also.
It should be more than one library for lcd.
