Get this... they're in good hands AND FEET with Ali on the drums! And yes - every song from Bleed from Within brings the heavy. Sounds like we gotta make some room for them in these series too 😀 Josh really started finding his footing as a vocalist on this album. Edge of the Earth/Monolith he was still moreso following Jamie's lead. The whole band was also involved in a serious bus accident in 2013 where they were all injured, so this album was an even bigger celebration. The melodies on this album are stunning, and one of the things I've loved most about them is how gracefully they've handled lineup changes, and there have been a few. I feel like they hit a great balance of integrating the new member's style into the band while managing to still sound like Sylosis. Thanks for helping me support this awesome band. 🖤
fun fact: The lead guitarist and singer are the same man, Josh Middleton. He is pretty much the best metal guitarist on the planet. Check him out. He is phenomenal.
Yep as a guitarist myself I have to say Sylosis songs generally except from maybe a couple tracks are beyond challenging to play, his technique is flawless
Ali Ritchardson joined the band pretty much immediately after this album was released so Rob does actually perform on these album versions of the songs.. there bassist left shortly after aswell because Sylosis really weren't making enough money at the time, they nearly actually disbanded due to this, hence there hiatus and Josh going to help out Architects, which in turn kind of helped them get a bigger fanbase, but still they deserve way more recognition
This band needs more love. Sylosis kick arse

Josh Middleton is one of my favorite metal guitar players and Ali Richardson is one of my favorite metal drummers. These guys are too underrated!
Ali Ritchardson actually joined right after this album was recorded it's still Rob that plays on this album
Great song! 🤟

Sylosis fuckin rules, Josh Middleton is a goddamn genius, god tier songwriter and guitarist and a damn good vocalist.
