@crhoades555 He kept the bottled city of Kandor in the fortress. Braniac shrunk the city. This was all written during the time that D.C. was all over the place with their writing.
@crhoades555 That was as far back as the Sixties, if I remember my comic-book reading days accurately. I think Superman had no way to restore the city or its denizens to full size, so he just kept them safe from harm.

Lobo was originally supposed to be in the comic version of Supergirl woman of tomorrow, but for some reason they didn't get to use him. James Gunn is just going back to the original idea of using Lobo with the movie.
Gunn does not now shit about comic history. He just takes a popular comic and tries to put on his "strange but beloved outsider"-one-fits-all formula over it.

@IsaiahFord-w2u James Gunn is the producer of all recent DC movies and has a saying in every screenplay, he does all the castings, he picks the directors, he picked the comic template to make an adaption from. He will not be the director of the movie, but everything else is "of course" Gunn's handwriting. But "of course" you think you can be a smartass in internet, even though you have no clue what you talk about. Let's hope for you and the people around you that you just use the internet anonymously to ragebait people and write stupid ass stuff, so you can be a normal person in normal life. The colour grading feels right for this movie , I think I like that about the different movies and shows that the tonality and style doesn't have to be rigid and uniform... that's how I feel about the MCU(doesn't mean it bad, just different0. Not sure if I used the right terminologies(regarding videography).

Typically, we say that someone is "in" a city, not "on" it. I can't really see this changing simply because a city is floating in space. How would one be "on" a city? Maybe they were liquified and sprayed upon the buildings and the streets, coating them? Or perhaps they were very, very big and laid down upon it? Neither of those conditions would appear to have been met by the trailer I watched, not to put too fine a point on things
Brilliant move to introduce Lobo and hopefully he won't be wasted.
Can attest to the character about dogs. My good friend adopted a dog about 14 years ago. She was bullied, beaten even, and left to fend for herself as a stray. Today she's still not people-friendly and might bite if she's not given enough time to warm up to visitors. PTSD is real with dogs, and it sticks for their whole lives

When I first adopted my cat Lilo she was really wild and she was constantly attacking me so much that I almost considered returning her to the shelter. After a she became more tame so I can relate to her situation.
