As we know our personal information is a valuable asset to large corporate companies, so is this new prize deal from Mc Donalds just another way of getting our information? Or is it just me being unlucky?

Ive had 6 stickers and had £5 cash, big mac, cheese burger, 6 nuggets, milkshake and lost one so not bad
the chance of getting anything when the cost of the fries worth very little but be charged a lot for them...

My only thoughts why not use those bendy chips for a picture frame then just take your favourite meal put it in the middle sorted...Cheers matey
Yeah, you're bang on. It's a data farming exercise which will give you the chance to win a prize I'm sure, but at the expense of collecting your personal data. This will be used for marketing purposes and better understanding the people that take part so that they can target them with specific communications.
I see it all the time in the line of work I'm in. Very interesting.

I won a sauage and egg muffin the other day so it is possible but i will say in my experience you won far more often playing monopoly.
You got to have the mcdonalds delivery app, then scan the code. WIth the fries, it records down how many times you have them...to win large fries in the end!! Its a bit hard to find on the app too. Ive had an insta prize free bag of fruit, time wasting really

I tried going for the Monopoly thing one year, tried quite hard to eat at Macca's any time we could and won at most a couple free drinks and basic-burgers. So I don't bother with any of it anymore as a result - sure people do win on these things but I think you're right, at best it gets you buying more Maccas, at the worst they get a bunch of your info.
I think the one you got is not a winner and if you had won it would say? And then they try to tempt you into scanning the crap by saying "oh hey scan for another chance to win!"
Was same for me with the monopoly ones but wondered if people have won on these or if you have to use the all and give your data to Maccas?

I rarely eat at McDonald's, I recently ordered a large meal, cost me over £7!, I got a standard burger which was ok, a drink that was like 3 sips, absolute joke, and the fries said 'Supersize', In the documentary Supersize Me the Supersize Fries was like 4 times larger than the Fries I Got. I'm Never gonna eat at Macky's again. They are a complete joke. Boycott this company they are an absolute joke serving overpriced processed rubbish.
