Epilogue idea:
Although Mecha-King Ghidorah was created for humanity’s protection. He was created from the remains of King Ghidorah.
On absorbing just one power surge, Former memories began to appear to the mechanical beast. It’s defeat by Godzilla and humanity, it’s resurrection by the Futurians - everything.
Now identifying as Neo King Ghidorah. He began taking Power Surge Crystals by force from any monster that kept it from him.
On collecting them all, he returned to the GDF base and attacked with no mercy. Miku was the last human alive, so before leaving her he sent her a telepathic message.
‘You have been kind to me, Human. I will let you live as my messenger when I am done with this planet. We will head to other planets and with you as my herald, I will wipe every single life form from existence before I become King of this universe.’
Collapsing to her knees, Miku sobbed. She thought humanity was in control of him, When in fact he was always in control and he would be until his death - which would probably never happen.

I can see this being in a comic. Or even maybe, just maybe, a part of the monsterverse.

I always assumed there was a context for each tyrant ending.
ED would be that collecting a single powersurge, in this timeline of events, made them easily corruptible.
GDF would be an Alien Virus that infected their machines to go into Tyrant mode (in Kiryu's case it was G54's spirit wanting power, MKG would be a Futurian Virus, MG2 and Moguera would be a virus by the Vortaak and Jet would be influences from the crystals).
Aliens would be that the Surges broke their control from the Vortaak and in turn made them power hungry.
and Mutants, well it's self explanatory.
I figure with the GDF monsters, JJ, MG2 and MGRA have their A.I. corrupted by the crystals, while with MGK and Kiryu, the crystals has their biological bases rebel and take over from the A.I.

Mecha king ghidorah is a beast
So from what I'm getting at is, in order for the non-mutant monsters to go through the Tyrant run, you have to destroy basically all the monsters including the ones afflicted by the crystals, without ever destroying them?
You have to defeat all crystal-possessed monsters throughout the story, enemy or ally alike. Thankfully, such stages are easy to find, you just have to pay attention to the stage selection text... However, if you don't land the killing blow on the crystal-powered monster, the CPU will take the crystal power instead and ruin the Tyrant run! With certain characters that have difficulty dealing with multiple monsters, this can be kind of a pain.

Kappa Kiev Ah. I suppose I just always failed in doing tyrant run for them. For some reason they seem the hardest to get all crystal power ups.
Outside of the Mutants that go down the Tyrant path by default, all non-Mutant monsters can go down the Tyrant Path by collecting all of the Power Surges.
