@@cmo9400 I still blame Sansa - without her ‘meddling’ Ned would still be alive - her precious ‘Prince/King’ and her love of Kings Landing are the things that matter to her - I think we’ll have to agree to disagree
*Sansa became a queen regnant, a ruling Queen, officially, a Monarch of Winterfell. Arya became an explorer, with blessings from both Bran of the Six Realms and Sansa of the North, making her an indisputable knight. They became officially what they wanted.*
I am a big Sansa fan. I know she has her detractors but she went thru so much. I have been watching a lot of these Sansa video's and by far this was the best one. Not just cause I like the subject matter. but because of the look, the scene editing and timing. And the pace was just right. I do alot of view editing and I saw some real effort and imagination. Over all very nice I enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work.
Sansa went through the biggest character development but the smallest evolution. She started out naive and innocent and developed into someone who isn't so easily let people in and able to read people better. Unlike Arya who evolved from competent into something deadly, Sansa evolved into a survivor. I think her journey was the toughest out of all the Starks. She had not combat skills and had to learn rather quickly the ways of manipulation and politics.
I knew she would rule from the beginning. She was a quick study, learned to read people, grew mentally, became harder and always understood duty above all. Queen Sansa!👑
I've watched a lot of Sansa videos but honestly this remains one of the best. I think what really sets this one apart is that you really nailed the pacing - you had a story to tell and you told it. Plus this is one of the few videos with Littlefinger's execution that manages to minimise the actual background soundtrack from the scene - normally it is very jarring when it gets cut to and overpowers the music for the video and since it is such a key moment it is basically always used in a Sansa video! Thank you very much for sharing.
I didn’t like most of what they did with Sansa, particularly betrayal of her cousin and her oath. But I really liked that eventually she became stronger than Ramsey even when facing him before the battle of the bastards. She finally realized that ending her life was better than a lifetime of torture and it took Ramsey’s only real power from him, fear.
I understand why some people may find Sansa annoying, but I blame this mostly on the writing. I think their hatred towards her has less to do with her being a rather oblivious teenager but more to do with the fact that she became very demanding and sassy the moment she reached the Night's Watch and reunited with Jon. But people have to understand that the mental and physical torture she received from Cersei, Joffrey, Littlefinger, and Ramsay had shaped her anger as well as her desperation to win back Winterfell. It's sad to see people talking about how she didn't "suffer" much and didn't exactly do anything "remarkable" for her to be named Queen in the North. She was not a soldier; she never swung a sword but that doesn't mean she is a useless character. The show didn't include graphic scenes of her physical tortures which is why people believe she didn't go through pain. I also wish the show writers had focused and included more scenes on Sansa's ability to command people, not because she carries the name Stark but for who she had become. What the monsters she had faced had forced her to become. That includes her going to the Vale to convince the knights to ride North to help Jon win the Battle of the Bastards or perhaps a possible reunion between her and Cersei showing the audience how Sansa had learned from her and is no longer a "little dove" but has the personality and aura of a Queen herself.
Game of thrones is good at developing a character and making it a hero finally they die in a horrible manner like Ned Stark, Robb Stark because those starks made stupid mistakes. But sansa didn't make any mistake till now
The only thing that makes me uncomfortable is that, for northerners and for the Starks, "the one who passes the sentence must swing the sword". This was a big thing for all Starks and spoke a lot about the honor of the family. But , even though Sansa passed the sentence, it was Arya who swung the sword, and I did not like it. It made me think it took 2 female Starks to uphold the most basic rule of the male Starks... Sansa does not need to be a fighter to execute someone. She should be thoroughly upholding the vows of the Winterfell leader. I hope we can still see that
You got the quote a bit wrong: A Game of Thrones - Bran I Bran had no answer for that. "King Robert has a headsman," he said, uncertainly. "He does," his father admitted. "As did the Targaryen kings before him. Yet our way is the older way. The blood of the First Men still flows in the veins of the Starks, and we hold to the belief that the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. If you would take a man's life, you owe it to him to look into his eyes and hear his final words. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die. "One day, Bran, you will be Robb's bannerman, holding a keep of your own for your brother and your king, and justice will fall to you. When that day comes, you must take no pleasure in the task, but neither must you look away. A ruler who hides behind paid executioners soon forgets what death is." The key word is "should", we are given history that in the north a lord or others can pass a sentence yet someone else did the execution, with the Starks one Stark can pass a sentence but another can execute it. Sansa can't use weapons, Bran is crippled leaving Arya who is skilled in weapons, but she ( or Sansa and Bran ) can't handle a sword large enough to take a man's head but; she has a dagger his dagger. Sansa brought charges, everyone heard Littlefinger's words, Sansa, Bran and Arya gave testimony against him, Sansa issued a verdict and Arya carried it out. So a Stark brought charges, Starks heard his words, Starks looked into his eyes; as A Stark did the execution. They followed the code--- we don't hire executioners, we do the deed ourselves.
I see the PJFSr's point, but i think ultimately all three Starks here passed the sentence, together. All three didn't need to physically attack him. Sansa definitely still acted on the words of Ned and absorbed that moment, it was not a mercy for her for Arya to do this and the death wasn't minimized by her anger or revenge. It was an honorable death.
Sansa was one of this characters that you hated at the beginning because she was annoying AF, but when you see her come into her own due to her circumstances, you grow to appreciate her. She went to hell and back and became stronger because of it. She is far from the little girl doing needle work who we saw in Season 1, happily daydreaming of her love.
❗️UNPOPULAR OPINION:: I know I’ll get some hate for this but I LOVE Sansa/Ramsay together. Not the show version since he was full on crazy but the FanFic version I came across where Ramsay redeems himself and become a good man. I love Enemies to Lover, my favorite troupe. And they had some passion in the Fics I’ve read. Just the heat was BURNING. The sex was HOT. And now they’re my Favorite Couple. Another Couple the show fucked up by making it just toxic and not explored properly. I mean in the books Sansa was never raped, she never even got with Ramsay. If they were going to add this couple in do it properly. Could’ve been total power couple. I wish he’d become a better man and they stayed together as King and Queen of the North. Also I wish Sansa had at least become pregnant with Ramsay son in the books/show.
Arya was the only Stark female that learned to fight… to protect herself and others. In the TV series Sansa and Bran were selfish and entitled and allowed many to fight and die for them… all so that they could be King and Queen. In the Books Sansa’s big strong, I am woman arc never happened, she was never raped by or married off to Ramsey Bolton.
She was still an annoying, spoiled, lazy, entitled wannabe Queen at the end… she like Bran let everyone fight and die for her, without gratitude or kindness… all she was interested in was being Queen. The storyline was created by Benioff and Weiss because in the books she was never raped by or married to Ramsey Bolton. She was still a child at this stage of the books. The end of the series was abysmal. Would love a sequel where Drogon returns and fries her and Bran for breakfast.
Sansa is one of the best characters. In the beginning of the show I found her annoying. But very quickly I came to love her.
Very good ... I am like you

Arya and sansa both became what they wanted. A queen and a knight, but just unofficial versions.

this is riveting! they had a complicated relationship, and Sansa had to slay him to come in to her own. Bravo!
Never forget Tyrion's comment......Lady Stark, you may survive us yet.
Sansa Stark, the Lady of Winterfell, she is my Queen from this day until her last day. I will give my life for hers if need be.
Her character development was very well done.
I just love how Sansa isn't taking shit from people, she's gotten so sassy and I love it!
Arya slays with a sword, Sansa slays with attitude!
Very good montage; Sophie's acting as GoT progressed was much underrated.

Ned Stark: He who passes the sentence, wields the sword. Arya: Sansa passes the sentence. I wield the sword.
He doesn't want to be called Peter he wants to be called DADDY😂🤣
It's quite possible that the only man who truly loved Sansa was Tyrion. He tried so hard to protect her.
Idk if he loved her, but I think he was someone who tried to protect an innocent child.
I think the hound loved her in his own way

She betrayed her father to cersei .
Robbs mistake was killing Karstark- that's it . Everything else was betrayal by freys and boltons.
