- Siddi tribal community leader Hirbai Ibrahim Lobi was conferred with the Padma Shri award on March 22. She worked for the upliftment and development of the Siddi tribal community. President Murmu conferred Padma Awards 2023 at Civil Investiture Ceremony-I at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The central government announced a total of 106 Padma Awards across categories.

Hirbai Ibrahim Lobi, An African-origin Siddi tribe woman from Jambur village of Junagadh, has been honoured with the Padma Shri award, the fourth-highest civilian award by the government of India for the social work.
Surrounded by lions, the livelihood of the women of the Siddi community depended on wood cutting. Hirbai ji spent a large part of her life in the uplift of Siddi tribal women and for the education of children. Till now she has changed the lives of more than 700 women and innumerable children.

It is rare to see someone from Siddi community getting recognition in national platform. I want to see them in parliament, in civil services, military and more into mainstream. Their African haritage can help India a lot.

These are actually the real grassroot social workers who do lifelong work for upliftment of the poor community at village level. Modi government honours such social workers with high national awards. Previously, just see what type of people got these awards during Congress times - mainly the Khan Market smooth English jargon speaking crowd who had an immense gift of slick English talk but no real ground work with the poor in villages. Naturally, these English speaking Khan Market gangs do not stop their continuous propaganda against Modi in Indian and international English language media, because Modi has ignored them and is instead giving national awards to the real rural level leaders who are doing real social work that is making a difference to a huge number of poor villagers.
Example - during Congress times, third rate anti India scumbags like Saif Ali Khan used to get such awards, who did absolutely nothing at all worthwhile to receive it, but they still got it because of their being the smooth English speaking royalty type who had studied in England and knew the Gandhi family.
