I have been thinking about living in Airbnbs because my income has not gone up in the last 10 years, I work remotely sometimes, and then 30 day bookings are less than these rent prices.
Thanks I am currently taking a new teaching position at a school 2 hours from my house and not wanting to drive. MY only fear is not having any place to stay , and also not having the place feel like my own though. But I'm going to try it.
@@dralbertpakin8895 just think of it like a hotel. You can close your bedroom door. You can get a room & bathroom sometimes. Bring like your favorite pillow, blanket to be comfortable. I’d try it to save money. These rent prices crazy. Unless you have roomies.
Thank you for watching! It never hurts to ask it come at it from an overly kind place. I have heard from Airbnb hosts on YT that asking for a deal upfront has correlated with bad guests in many cases (trying to nickel & dime the host at the end of their stay if one small thing was off), so I think that’s the main reason most hosts would deny it. But again, you never know & it truly never hurts to ask! 💕
We rented 2-3 bed houses because we needed an office and a kids room. You can find way better deals for smaller places and rooms if you’re more flexible!
I got a PO Box near friends and had them send us mail every month or so. You can also sign up for Informed Delivery for free via USPS to get an email of what mail is coming to your mailbox every day so you don’t miss things like bills. It wasn’t a perfect system, but it worked for us!
I’m doing this right now !! And loving it.
Woohoo! That’s awesome. Enjoy 😀😀
I’m bout to start doing this

He looks held hostage that first 1:30 lol
Lol
😂
Great video, guys!
This is such a great idea! I’ve shared your experience with a few friends who are interested in testing living in different cities before moving.
Yaaay. Thanks, Tobey! ✨💕
Early. 😊 Your lipstick goes really well with your jumper.
Thank you, Lea! ❤️
it's a great idea to stay in the area that you think would be ideal for you both
Thanks for the tips! I’m basically doing the same on the east coast. I’ll def be trying a few of these as I move around. 🤗
Ohhhhh nice. You are going to have such a good time. Good luck!! 😊
Loved this!
Thanks so much for watching!! ✨💙
Also, paying for AirBnB with credit card builds points. Usually, renting (lease) won't allow payments by credit card.
Yes, good call!

Thank you for the video! Will host negotiate rates?

Yay! So awesome. I hope you have a great experience. 💕
@@Susfoo why? I’m just curious 🙂
You should leave an negative review if it is warranted as that's what you are benefiting from in reading all the reviews! Save the next person.
I asked about Laundry because it wasn't listed but they said I was able to use it I just have to let them know.
Thanks for this we are moving for work and going to do air B&B for a few months until we decide where in the city we want to buy
That is super exciting. Best of luck and enjoy the journey together! 😊😊
Do y’all rent out whole houses or just a room or two?

@@savannahsdwyer thank you
Seems like Dustin and me have the same MO. Leave things better than you found it. And do a tiny bit of online stalking when appropriate. 😆
Haha! I love it! ☺️☺️
What do you do about an address?

We need to crash your new place! Hopefully you will leave us a good review although Samantha snores....
Yessss. We’ve got a guest room with your name on it. We’ve got a couple baby sound machines we can drown out the snores. 😜
