Was this an actual tornado or just a meso with damaging winds? These squall-line / supercell hybrid type storms often produce 80-100 mph winds even outside any tornado.
@@northtexasskies3243 the storm overall cost the lives of three people. Maybe not in this area specifically, but it was this storm chain that sadly cost those lives

Man I live in Arkansas iwasasleep through most of the storm one up to just some and high winds and thunder thank god we didn’t get tornados but I hope that anybody that was affected was ok and alive and well
I got a video of the sirens going off by my house. that's about it. I could hear the sirens from Crowley at my house I live on the southwest edge of fort worth which borders Crowley im just above Crowley on the radarscope image.
That was as close as it gets. I'm in the unincorporated part of the city which doesn't have sirens. The closest one is 2 miles away on the edge of city limits and that is the one you are hearing.
Where I live the tornado siren always goes off when the storm is moving away. Because of Lake Michigan the storms often suddenly crank up overhead. Only areas further east get an advanced warning. It’s happened at least twice.
Now this is something to record that lady liberty channel is recording rain saying tornado warnings cursing has a kid outside saying there is a tornado on the ground yet u have some people in basment and another kid outside with u most def a head case over there with weather videos. This my friend is far more scary and exciting and worth watching

It was an actual tornado but didn't touchdown in my city. It did hit in Godley which is around 15 miles to the SW.
I spent the night tracking this storm on radar. RIP to those who died
Lol no one died. I'm not even sure if it touched the ground. I haven't heard of any damage.

You guys were in a higher risk than we were but by the time the storms got over there it was just strong winds.

It did a brief touchdown a few cities over before going over my town but it didn't touch down and I think it dissipated not too long after.
