Dont be taken in by the idea that Jesus was not a REAL perfect man with a soul who was tested, was really tired, hungry, sweated drops of blood! all for you! It wasnt God just pretending to be Jesus! Read verse 14 "The Word became flesh and we had a view of his glory, the glory of an ONLY BEGOTTEN SON FROM A FATHER"! Thats clear! then to make it even clearer, verse 18 "No one has SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME". That is before and during John's lifetime! So John admitted that he had NEVER "seen |God"! Yet did he "see" Jesus? Yes! So Jesus is |NOT God but his Son! Finally, John sums up his entire gospel with these words; "These things have been written ( inc Chapter 1!) that you may believe that JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD"! Thats good enough for me! Actually, on the contrary, Oneness Pentecostals
      more than any other denomination have to seek an explanation for scriptures that do not fit with their theology.
      Most of the time they have to use single verses or tie verses from one place in the bible to another for their dogmas to make sense, and they can not read the verses exactly as they are written.

      @Torah Observant Unitarian
      Of course Jesus was human lol but, if you think that the beliefs of the oneness make sense with the whole bible, you are wrong, because Jesus is not the Father as oneness affirm, nor is he the Father in the flesh or inside the body of Jesus.
      The Bible mentions the word "PERSON" in comparison with God. Jesus is the image just like we're also the Image of God in a moral, spiritual, and intellectual nature (Gen 1:27).
      In Hebrews 1:3 it says:
      3 who being the brightness of HIS GLORY and the express IMAGE OF HIS PERSON and upholding all things by the word of HIS power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
      Within a theological context, PERSON does not necessary refer to someone who possesses a physical body. Rather, a "PERSON" refers to an identity and set of characteristics that are unique when compared to none persons. The image of God is the most significant delineating factor which distinguishes man from physical creatures, and it's endows him with the confluence of qualities that is specific only to persons, namely, a mental faculty which possesses volition, logic, abstract thought, moral agency, self awareness, rationality, and emotive expressions. We may appropriately summarize these qualities as those that belong to a subject who is capable of love.
      Let me ask you, did Jesus have a body? The answer is: Yes, of course.
      Now is a donkey a person? Of course not, it is an animal but, still a donkey also has a body. So to be a person you necessarily need a body? Of course NOT, because if that was the case a donkey would be a person.
      I know that you reject the word PERSON but wasn't Jesus a PERSON like you and I? The answer is: yes, of course. So we would have to conclude that Jesus the SON is DIVINE and also a PERSON or a man. There is no problem to use the word PERSON nor there is no problem in using the word as first PERSON, second PERSON or third PERSON.

    Excellent explanation, Bro. Urshan! I would add understanding the Oneness of God provides an incarnational hermeneutic that acts as a periscope to interpret Scripture leading to a greater knowledge of God manifested in Christ, thus, bridging the divide between both testaments. Also, it breaks out the meaning of the mystery revealed--the Incarnation prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New. Thus, the revelation brings to bear the incarnational monotheistic belief, identity and mission of God and the Messiah, and bridge between testaments.

      Tyler, there is no specific formula. Oneness teach that went one is baptized, the person conducting the baptism must recite the words “in the name of Jesus.” If those words are not recited, the baptism is illegitimate and that person cannot be saved.
      This is in contrast with the view of most Christians, who follow the baptismal formula that is prescribed in the Great Commission. Jesus told the disciples to go and baptize, “in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). In response to this command oneness will emphasize that he commanded them to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The name of these three, the argument goes, it is supposedly Jesus Christ. Thus, when one baptizes, they are to baptize “in the name of Jesus.”
      Oneness argue that every time a water baptism was performed, that it was in the name of Jesus. That is to say, that the water baptizer recited the words “in the name of Jesus”. From this, they conclude that we should also only baptize in the name of Jesus. Are they right? Should we baptize only in the name of Jesus?
      Tyler, oneness asserts that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all just roles that Jesus takes, or titles ascribed to him. Thus we cannot baptize by the title, but the name. BUT WHY NOT? Jesus said the phrase “in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” and, according to oneness, he was supposedly referring to the name Jesus. According to them, the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is Jesus. It therefore would make sense that baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit would be baptism in the name of Jesus. In light of that, it seems difficult to make sense of this objection.
      Further, and interestingly, the disciples baptized with ONLY TITLES at certain times too. There were even times that THEY DID NOT BOTHER saying the name “Jesus.” They just said “call on his name.” (Acts 22:16). If it is okay to say “call on his name,” then how can one be faulted for saying “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”? To press the issue further, the disciples, in a few places, only recited the words “in the name of the Lord.” (Acts 10:48). Why should there be difficulty with one title (Lord), but not another? The apostles often used different titles when describing their baptism. There was not consistency by any means.
      Was “in the name of Jesus” a baptismal formula? A baptismal formula is the words that one recites before baptizing. Oneness suggest that “in the name of Jesus” is the precise baptismal formula that one recites just before baptizing somebody. THE PROBLEM IS, that there are a number of DIFFERENT formulas, some of them NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE NAME “Jesus.” But if it is a formula, one would expect consistency. But there is none.
      The apostles describe their baptism as “in the name of Jesus Christ,” (Acts 2:38), “in the name of the Lord Jesus,” (Acts 8:16, 19:5), “in the name of the Lord,” (Acts 10:48) as just “his name,” (Acts 22:16). I would expect there to be a consistency in a baptismal formula, BUT THERE IS NOT ONE . There is inconsistency, different words, and sometimes using just titles. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IF THE EARLY APOSTLES WOULD BE CONDEMNED by oneness as RECKLESS BAPTIZERS. Oneness would probably feel the need to re-baptize those who had been baptized “in the name of the Lord.” lol.
      Tyler, what does it mean to baptize in the name of Jesus? I would like to suggest that when the baptizer recites the words “in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” they are being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. This is because the phrase “in the name of,” is not a line to be recited. But rather, it is an idiom. It is like saying, “in the name of the law.” It is a statement of authority and power. That is how the Jews understood it when they heard it. That is why they asked, “by what power, or in what name have you done this?” (Acts 4:7).
      If an executioner chops a mans’ head off, he does so “in the name of the king” even if he does not recite the kings’ name. It is a statement of authority. A police officer does not arrest a man in and of his own authority, or in his own name. He arrests a criminal in the name of the state, under their power. The phrase “in the name of,” is an idiom meant to indicate power and authority. Thus when the the apostles stated that they baptized in the name of Jesus, THEY WERE INDICATING POWER AND AUTHORITY. That is the biblical definition for this phrase “in the name of” (Acts 4:7).
      God Bless!

    Most trinity believers have never heard an explanation of what they think they believe it just happens to be the mainstream of who they know that invites them to a local church. I personally in 42 years have literally never heard it preached or taught and I'm acquainted with many many churches.

    I’m hearing more speculation than I am actual scriptural fact. “The Trinity doesn’t exist. It was a construct by the creeds.” There’s PLENTY of aid given to this doctrine by scripture. It is the best explanation given the Old and New Testament

    Thank you Brother Nathaniel for taking the time to put this teaching together.
    I’m going to respectfully make a few comments about the doctrine’s that you have brought forth, in which this controversy has raged back a forth for centuries.
    What I’m about to share is something that has been a journey for my family and I, I’m third generation oneness Pentecostal/ Apostolic and have attended many of the meetings you have ministered at… so with that being said, both the doctrine of Oneness, and Trinitarianism is a subject I can articulate in my sleep, for a lack better words.
    I have come to realize that the debate between The Oneness & Trinitarianism views, though they seem to differ, and I do believe they do, but on the other hand, we find a striking Similarity in the two beliefs / doctrines, and that is they both hold to the doctrine of “incarnation”, i.e. both teach Jesus was YHVH (God), robed in flesh/ YHVH became “Man”…
    In your teaching @17:13, you stated that both Jewish and Muslim faiths would more agree / adhere with the Oneness doctrine… I respectfully would have to challenge that statement.
    In my research I have found that both Jewish Rabbis & Muslin, whole heartedly and vehemently “reject” any notion that YHVH (God) would become a fleshy human (INCARNATION)…
    It is because it is the highest form of blasphemous idolatry to worship a human as the Creator ( Exodus 20:3), and according to Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”… basically if the prophets didn’t say YHVH was going to become a Human and die on a cross, then it’s false, and not one place in scripture can that be found to support “Incarnation”, it totally contradicts every old testament prophecy of the coming Jewish Messiah.
    I quote from Rabbi Tovia Singer, the Jewish scriptures vehemently declares that YHVH (God), is not a man nor the son of man, Jesus’ favorite saying was he was “a son of man” Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

    Continued in the replies

    • @dougwalker9958
      @dougwalker9958 2 года назад

      Jesus’ favorite saying was he was “a son of man” Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
      ‭ Hosea‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭
      “I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.”

      1 Samuel 15:29, “And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.”
      ‭‭
      The Jewish scriptures with out a doubt say, that YHVH (God) made an “Everlasting Covenant” with two houses/ linage, The House of David & The House of ZADOC through Phinehas (i.e. blood linage), and these to Covenants are confirmed many times by the prophets. Consider the following scriptures;
      ** The everlasting covenant made with the house of Phinehas / ZADOC, this “bloodline lineage is the ONLY one that has the Authority to mediate the new covenant of peace, no way around it;
      Numbers‬ ‭25:11-13‬
      “Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: and he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.”

      **Now the everlasting covenant made with the house of David and his lineage through Solomon.
      2 Samuel‬ ‭7:12-14‬,‭
      “And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of *thy bowels,* and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 👉I will be his father, and he shall be my son.👈If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:”
      Psalm‬ ‭89:3-4‬ ‭
      “I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Thy seed will I establish for ever, And build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.”
      ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭89:27-28, 34‬ ‭
      “Also I will make him my **firstborn, Higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, And my covenant shall stand fast with him. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”
      ‭‭
      *** Now the prophet Jeremiah confirms both of these “everlasting covenants” with these two lineages;
      Jeremiah‬ ‭33:17-18‬
      “For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.”
      ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33:20-21‬ ‭
      “Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.”
      ‭‭
      So rightfully so the Jewish Rabbis reject the notion of “Incarnation” because it goes against every Covenant promise that God made to the house of David and to the house of Zadok, i.e. if Joseph is not his blood father, Jesus doesn’t qualify to be the Jewish Messiah spoken of in the Hebrew Scriptures…. This why both Matthews’s & Luke’s genealogy are Joseph’s taking it back to David/ Judah.
      The truth of the matter is the “virgin” birth is a Roman Catholic doctrine, inserted into our scriptures breaking the covenantal promise made to the house of David and the house of Phineas !!!
      Just read it for yourself Isaiah chapter 7, the whole chapter in context, it is a prophecy given to the king Ahaz, fulfilled 700 years before Jesus was born, the sign wasn’t a virgin it was that before the child that was born would reach maturity, that is to to know right from evil, the two kings oppressing Ahaz would be dead!!! The rest of that prophecy is told in Isaiah chapter 8, it was Isaiah’s second child Mahershalalhashbaz, please read it for yourself Isaiah chapter 7 & 8, it has nothing to do with Jesus!! The RCC has messed with the book of Matthew, taking Isaiah 7 completely out of context…
      I said all that to say this, if we can find out when the “Decree” went forth in Psalms 2:7 “THIS DAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN THEE”, then we can find out, was Jesus declared the son of God at birth, or at some other time???
      This is interesting because the Apostle’s were not confused on the issue when Jesus was declared the son of God, and it was not at his birth…
      We find the FIRST time he is call my son is at “Baptism” not before, this is when he was adopted or called a son of God, just as Marry was told in Luke 1:32 “He shall be great, and shall be 👉called the Son of the Highest👈: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his 👉father David:”👈, here the angel declares he will be CALLED THE SON OF GOD, but HIS FATHER IS DAVID!!!
      ‭‭
      So clearly his Baptism, which was of repentance, at which time he was filled with the Holy Ghost (voice this is my son), fulfilling Isaiah 11:1-3. “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:”
      ‭‭
      So Jesus was born again / adopted son of God BUT WAS NOT BEGOTTEN UNTIL RESURRECTION!!!
      👇
      Acts‬ ‭13:33‬ ‭
      “God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath👉 raised up Jesus again👈; as it is also written in the second psalm, 👉Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.”👈
      ‭‭
      Romans 1:2,3,
      “concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was 👉made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 👈and 👉declared 👈to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the
      👉resurrection👈 from the dead:”

      So there are two clear witnesses that the decree of him being begotten of God was clearly at resurrection and not at birth.
      This is clearly why both Jewish Rabbis & Muslins fully reject christianity it is because of the doctrine of “INCARNATION” it is 100 % incompatible with the Hebrew Scriptures of the Messiah.
      There is so much more I can write on this, but just please research it for yourself it makes the whole Bible make complete sense, if he’s not the biological son of Joseph, i.e. seed of David, he does not qualify to be the Jewish Messiah, and it can’t be through Mary because women do not have seed and it’s a clear violation of Numbers 1:18“and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, 👉and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their
      fathers,👈according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.”

      So why is he the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD (At this time)??
      Because many of his brethren are going to follow suit at the resurrection he was just the FIRST TO BE BEGOTTEN OF THE SPIRIT, Romans 8:29, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the 👉firstborn👈 among many brethren.”
      Colossians‬ ‭1:15, 18‬ ‭
      “Who is the image of the invisible God, the 👉firstborn 👈of every creature: And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the 👉firstborn from the dead;👈that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

      Revelation‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭
      ‭‭“and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the 👉first begotten of the dead👈, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”
      ‭‭
      Born again at Baptism and Begotten at resurrection!!!
      As a Oneness believer I had to scrape the doctrine of incarnation, it’s the same as trinitarianism, it is diametrically opposed to the Law and the Prophets which Jesus himself said spoke of him.
      Blessings hope this helps someone.. COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!!!

      Thank you for taking the time reply. I read your responses. A quick note: I never said Jews and Muslims embrace Oneness. I said they have a problem with the Trinity because they believe (and rightly so) that it violates God's essential, numerical Oneness. While we do not agree on their view of the Incarnation, we do agree that God is indivisibly One. They do react more favorably to Oneness advocates as opposed to Trinitarian advocates because we all see clearly the abomination of the Greco Roman construct of Trinitarianism. I do not try to imply they believe Jesus is God. They plainly do not. I merely contend that our position is closer to true monotheism than that of Trinitarians and they recognize that.
      As to your other points, I haven't had time to parse them completely and will try to do so soon.

      The Trinity has no roots from the Council Of Nicaea or from Greco Roman ...Original origin comes from Genesis/Let Us make man in our image NOT the Angelic Host Image (where’s your wings) The Father was speaking to The Son and to Holy Spirit ...It was The Son Of GOD that came to earth in flesh/ GOD in flesh(incarnation)GOD with Us (True The Father (Spirit)was in The Son)But The Son is NOT The Father / The Son can’t be His own Father...Whether one believes Trinity or Oneness it has no bearing in one’s salvation...The acknowledgment is :Have you been WASH in the Blood Of The Lamb ?❤

    [21] Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: WHO HATH DECLARED THIS FROM ANCIENT TIME? WHO HATH TOLD IT FROM THAT TIME? HAVE NOT I THE LORD? and THERE IS NO GOD else BESIDES ME; A JUST GOD AND a SAVIOUR; THERE IS NONE BESIDE ME.
    [22] Look unto ME, AND BE ye SAVED, ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, and THERE IS NONE ELSE.
    [23] I have sworn by MYSELF, THE WORD IS GONE OUT OF MY MOUTH IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND SHALL NOT RETURN, That UNTO ME EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, EVERY TONGUE SHALL SWEAR.
    [24] Surely, shall one say, IN THE LORD HAVE I RIGHTEOUSNESS and STRENGTH: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
    [25] In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
    [See Isaiah 45 verse 23 above]
    John 1:1-4
    [1] IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, and the WORD was WITH GOD, and the WORD WAS GOD.
    [2] The same was in the beginning with God.
    [3] All things were MADE BY HIM; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
    [4] IN HIM WAS LIFE; and the life was the light of men.
    Philippians 2:10-11
    [10] That AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of things IN HEAVEN, and things IN EARTH, and things UNDER the EARTH;
    [11] And that EVERY TONGUE should CONFESS that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.
    1 Timothy 3:16
    [16] And without controversy GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS.
    GOD WAS ...

      @Zachary Theriault with how Jesus seems to personalize them and converse with them, it seems too far of a grasp to assume they’re all forms of one Unitarian God

    • @sidtom2741
      @sidtom2741 Год назад +1

      @Zachary Theriault I mean nobody disagrees with his omnipresence, but that verse is cherry-picked and used for the wrong reasons. His church is his body and he fills us with everything we need. It's not a verse that upholds his omnipresence. I would use the ESV or smth for translations next time because it's closer to the original greek texts. Plus, if this was already a revealed thing to the disciples, they still describe the Father as the God of Christ Jesus and the one who placed Him at His right hand and bestowed authority. The members of the Godhead interact with each other in a perichoretic fashion, and this described prominently in scripture. Take John 14, 15, and 16 for example. And if this was all to make an analogy of relationships and authoritative positions, there'd be no need for St. Paul to continue describing them as if these are the positions they continue to hold in heaven, if they were revealed that is.

    • @sidtom2741
      @sidtom2741 Год назад

      @Zachary Theriault Yeah, I would've thought so because I have Oneness friends who use the KJV or NKJV predominantly. I was mostly pointing out your use of it because the translation is relatively weaker than even the NIV.
      On the contrary, when God says "Let US make man in OUR image," there's a group word there. I've constantly heard the objection that God is referring to a divine council, but if you take the view of a literal genesis beginning, you'd be presupposing something extrabiblical.
      There are in fact three persons/forms of YHWH mentioned in the OT: YHWH, the Angel of YHWH, and the Spirit of YHWH. I also don't disagree with any points you made, so I'm not sure what you're getting at. In that same chapter earlier, we see the Angel of YHWH, suggested to be Jesus, manifesting himself in the burning bush. The word for angel is closely associated with messenger. And it's curious that in the very next verse, a mere angel would command Moses to tell the elders that "The Lord, the God of your fathers-the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob-appeared to me." Another example is Genesis 22, where the Angel of YHWH stops Abraham from sacrificing his child and proceeds to say "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from ME your son, your only son.” You can argue that it is God manifesting himself in an angel form, but this same angel is conversing with YHWH in Zechariah 1.
      Your Hebrews remark is not only out of context, but it doesn't rebut any of my claims. The context is about Jesus being the unshaken mediator and the archetype whom we try to imitate. The gospel the disciples preach is stagnant and unchanging.
      This last paragraph is only an association fallacy and to seclude YHWH to include only the one who saves isn't a great argument.

    Having been Trinitarian previously, I understand why Jews and Muslims have an issue with this. Even the Cristian school that I attended for a period of time said that it was a belief that had to be accepted by faith and couldn’t be explained. While there were three persons in the godhead of their belief, you were told you had to pray to Jesus to have the Father to hear your prayers. Such as, “Dear Heavenly Father I come to you through you precious son Jesus and ask for you today for forgiveness since I sin everyday.....” and the prayer had to end similarly: “through your son And my Savior, Jesus Christ Amen”.
    But seeing scriptures such as Deuteronomy 6:4 and John 10:30, I was never satisfied with that explanation. But after receiving the Holy Ghost just like those in the books of Acts I had a Devine revelation. I was blinded and confused and could never understand, but now I see clearly. There is only one God and one mediator between God and man. Understanding that God is a spirit and can manifest how he chooses is the best way I can explain it. Thanks for sharing about the oneness of Christ! It is a much needed topic for all that believe!

      There was no man who start the Trinity. I know what you think you know, but you actually don’t. Tertullian didn’t create the doctrine ex nihilo. The Apostles and their successors were Trinitarians.

    I have never thought about the keeping knowledge from the flesh that the spirit knew. If I could withhold information from myself in order to get through something I totally would and I do believe God let’s us forget certain details, memories, information etc to complete something he’s called us to do and he brings it back to our mind when we need it.

    God bless you for this good teaching. I have, however, a problem with grasping the idea that Jesus has human mind, human spirit, and human soul. These things are not stated in the bible. Plus, as Jesus is the word of God who became flesh, he is meant God himself. But, to say that God died brings more problem. Somewhat reconciliation of these comes from Jesus' words that he lays down his life and raises it. And if you have people to help me get baptized in the Holy Spirt by laying hands and praying I will be pleased. I live in Atlanta area and a lone person. Thanks again.

    You know what I find interesting, if there was such a thing as the trinity, which defines the Godhead as being co-equal in every facet, you never read of any attributes recognizing the Holy Spirit as the great I am the everlasting father, Prince of peace, the good Shepherd, etc. In scripture. These attributes are only given to the father and son, which leaves the Holy Spirit out. If their Coequal in every way, how come, the Holy Spirit is not recognized in any of these attributes?

    Yes, this is exactly what i needed to hear/ know, it is so important as it talks about the only way yhat we can enter heaven and how we will see/hear the Lord our God (YHWH/ Jesus Christ) the reue nature of God will be revealed right infront of our eyes. Will the Trinity be right or the oneness (1), will believing the trinity or oneness theology which ever one is wrong not be able to enter heaven.

      Some Jewish Messianic Brethren Believers refers to the Godhead as a Compound Unity... Apparently there’s Christians claiming Holy Spirit is Mother.I commented on their post and stated that’s taking it a little too far /sounds more like blasphemy which won’t be forgiven in this life time nor the next to come ...it didn’t bother her / she said a name of GOD that means The Breasted One/ I said men have Breast / Scripture refers to Holy Spirit as HE ...Breasted One could mean Chested One/ figuratively kinda lean on the Chest for comfort/security male image.

    Spot on! Even trinitarian scholars admit the Apostle didn’t believe in the trinity dogma admitting the trinity was a much later development that over time displaced biblical water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus.
    Apostle Paul ask a rhetorical questions “ what advantage does the Jew have”much in every way chiefly because unto them were committed the oracles of God”
    Nicea 325ad Pope Constantine convened a theological council of non Jewish theologians commingled the Jewish oracles with Greco Roman philosophy chiefly Platos logos doctrine.

    This scripture is a very good example as to how God is One and not 2 or 3 entities. God is not so cruel that He would send another in to the fire, the place of sacrifice, to appease Himself. Jeremiah 19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

    Blessings my brother. What about trinitarians who speak in tongues and cast out demons? I follow a group of people on you tube who do this, but because I'm oneness, I don't listen to thier 3 person teaching. Matthew 7:22,23 comes to mind when I think of trinitarians who cast out demons and heal the sick. It's sad to be so close and miss the mark.

    I enjoyed his teaching immensely. The history of the Catholic Church it’s so plain for everyone to see. One thing that troubles me though, is why are so many apostolic one is people celebrating the Roman catholic holiday of Christmas? It is 100% Catholic. Goes even deeper than that but that’s not my point. It’s a Catholic holiday. No Christian denominations used to celebrate Christmas and the reason was is that they wanted to escape all the wicked teachings of the Catholic Church. At one time itwas illegal in this country to celebrate Christmas. Again, because of its roots being from Catholicism. Joining in with the Catholics on December 25 and pretending that it is Jesus’s birthday just does not seem like something gods people should be doing. There certainly is no direction in the word of God to do so. Would like to hear your comment on that. Thank you so much.

    Bless the Lord, O' my soul! I am so thankful for revelation of Jesus Christ as conveyed by the Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 9:6,
    "For unto us a child is born (we agree that this is JESUS), unto us a son is given (again he's speaking of JESUS!): and the government shall be upon his shoulder (the reveal of JESUS in His Millenial reign as Christ that is to come!): and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor (descriptions of JESUS!), The mighty God (what you say? That's JESUS!!), The everlasting Father (there it is! JESUS!!), The Prince of Peace (that's nobody BUT JESUS!!)."
    There's no need for further dissections, reinterpretations, additions or subtractions! GOD has spoken concerning who He is, and let the church say AMEN!!!

      One day while I was in a church service (UPC) God spoke to me and said, "You are made in my image, aren't you?" I agreed. "Are you three persons?" I said, "No." He said, "Offices." I already knew there is only one God. He was showing me how that I am a daughter, mother, and wife; all offices I hold while being the same person. A wonderful way of describing God.
      I also wonder how it is that those believing there are 3 distinct persons in the Godhead call God "He". God "He" this, God "He" that. Get what I mean? If God is 3, why do they call Him "He?"

    Aaron compromised his faith because of pressure from his brethren...he gave into the pressure and became a people pleaser...the golden calf represents todays Trinity...Aaron said in Exodus 32:4-5 "And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD."...So Aaron went along with the people; and mixed their beliefs with his, by saying, "To morrow is a feast to the LORD."

    The way I understand trinity, is that God cloned Himself with two more beings with different tasks to perform. And the only why I can come up with, was that He just could not handle all the work that needed to be done all by Himself. This doctrine so obviously limits God's all powerful presence, His very being and that is why the trinity is so dangerous.

    I hope you guys don’t mind me asking. Have Oneness views helped at all when discussing the gospel with Jews and Muslims, from your experience? I’m sure that Jesus being God is still a stumbling block, but I’m curious if the removal of the Trinity helps them to consider it in a way that they wouldn’t have otherwise.
    Blessings!

    Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, ' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

      God the Father became his own Son. Jesus is the manifestation and personification of God the Father in human form.
      Any limitations that we see in Jesus are self-imposed.

      Mt 26.36-44 Jesus went with His disciples..and He said, 'Sit here while I go over there and pray.' Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.'"
      The Humanity which God took is reaching up as closely as possible to His Father's Heart.
      Phil 2.6-8, "Who being in the form of God, ...But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
      Heb 5.7, "Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to Save Him from Death, and was heard in that He feared."
      Lk 22.31-32, "Simon, Simon, satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail."
      Jn 17 This a long prayer where Jesus prays for Himself, His disciples, and all future believers. "After Jesus said this, He looked toward heaven and prayed: 'Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that your Son may Glorify You.'"
      Lk 22.44, "And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat WAS AS IT WERE great drops of blood falling down to the ground." This phrase suggests intense heavy sweat but it does not mean actual blood was present, but the distress of His Humanity.

    Can you teach a lesson on iniquity verses sin

    • @ApostolicSchoppy
      @ApostolicSchoppy 2 года назад

      Sin means faults and/or failures. Iniquity means more like deception or deceit like how some of God’s people would mess with the scales when weighing out money for trades so they could get more money for less product sold. That would be iniquity because they are being deceitful. And transgressions deals more with breaking covenants and promises/ agreements. This is the way that I have come to understand them.
