So, recently the 2nd anniversary for Blue Archive was celebrated, and a lot of awesome stuff was announced. The 4th PV was probably one of the biggest surprises for everyone, showing the cruel alternate realities that were saved thanks to Sensei, and the students 'save' the world. I think it was a very memorable, touching moment for all us players.
The PV wouldn't have been the same without its beautiful soundtrack, composed by Nor. By effective use of leitmotif, he perfectly created this bittersweet, nostalgic feeling of reminiscence and bright hope for the future. His music honestly needs much more praise!
For this arrangement, I tried to express the different melodies hidden in the track as much as I could, which was a difficult challenge. While I did give up on the bassline for some parts, I tried to maintain the ongoing flow of the music by using some rhythmic changes. I also put much more effort into the dynamics, to create the overall buildup of the song; and the performer should try to have good control over this as well!
