Yes, it's on quite alot of very trust-worthy sources. I believe the 2nd explosion, either boiler explosion or steamlines bursting, caused the base of the 3rd funnel to become misshapen and out of place slightly. When the water started to surround the area, roughly when the first ring went under, it collapsed.
