I attended a few sessions of the ACM around 1969-1970 when they played at the Hyde Park Art Center (53rd & Blackstone). It was quite an experience, especially Joseph Jarman.
See Larry Gray playing cello? He's also adept on guitar and piano. In lessons with him, back in the day, I never knew what instrument he would use to comp for me. A truly great musician.
