@@wojciechyskawa90241. Auto tune does very little live. The singer has to be extremely close to the correct pitch for it to sound good. 2. There's usually one very quiet layer of backing vocal which harmonizes with the lead melody. You would have to understand music to get it. Also it's still HIS voice which is why it sounds good.
Someone who "understands" music. There are many different programs and effect units that can do this auto-tune effect. They clearly have a better budget than a pedal unit where you have to be near perfect for the autotune to be effective. Pitch correction and backing tracks are making it way to easy for him and it is a real let down as a fan and fellow musician/producer/recording artist. with that said I still love this band, but they will fade away if this is the route the choose to take.@@janeliu5316

My gf and I were just at the Sonic Temple music festival and until then I had never heard from them before. I was there to see TOOL for the upteenth time and of course they were fantastic as usual but these guys live were awesome! His vocal range is truly incredible and he sounds just as great live as he does recorded! We bought tickets to see them in Pittsburgh in September literally driving to the hotel that night after the show! At 43 I'm a lil older then their average fans but we obviously don't give a shit! Go see them if you get a chance!

This guy is an insane vocalist! Most bands clean vocals are just backing track, this sounds real! Much respect to him.
Hang on, just watched some other live vids, and he uses auto-tune, so not technically "real" BUT, if you turned the live auto-tune off it would still sound good.
@@charlierodgers7637 He uses pitch correction and also some of the songs they made have purposely included auto tune to fit the song
turn the pitch correction off and you will not be typing such a silly comment. I work in the business, this is an insane amount of artificial effects and backing tracks being used to keep him in check. It's actually embarassing and I was a huge fan before seeing all these live clips. @@bobbywojcik1113
@@charlierodgers7637Pretty much every larger vocalist will use some form of tone correction, but even the best autotune won’t make a bad vocalist sound as good as he does. He uses so many techniques that I’ve been trying to perfect for a decade in vocal training, definitely major talent, with or without tone correction!
My son got me into listening to them and they were awesome live. We got tickets to Louder than Life so we can see them live again.
That’s awesome. I’ll be seeing them again in September.

I’m sick of people who don’t know their ass from their elbow about live vocal production and singing itself discrediting Noah’s singing abilities and live performance. Dude puts the work in to keep himself healthy, use proper technique, and practice good vocal hygiene. Put some respect on his name.

So 5months later now I'm totally in love with bad omens, I was hooked! Glad I had enough time to enjoy them before the gig. Less than 2 weeks now, this will be so good! I'm hoping because Noah has had time to rest his voice over Christmas that he will be at his best, he's been ill a few times over the tours in November 2023. Have a good time too in less than 2 weeks, which venue are you seeing them at? I'm seeing them in Birmingham on the 3rd day of the tour :)
