@Elisa's Addictions they gave them a crappy ending and Erin just didn't appreciate how much jag cared about her. Don't get me wrong i love #Linstead but after seeing haileys relationship with jay I think she's better for him. The relationship is more evenly balanced. Erin was never ready to settle

It was the writers fault. They were written a little one sided, always Erin in the center. To be honest Jay became his own character after Sophia left. He was used pretty much as a love interest. Yeah, I've been saying the same thing. Jay became a better character after Erin. Their relationship was onesided. It was always about Erin. And Jay was the one making all the sacrifices. Now he is a better character, not just Erin's boyfriend. He seems happier and much more "free".
I feel like there is way more of a connection between Jay and Hailey with them being just partners (for now), i kinda never saw a true connection and desire between Erin and Jay
@@jingerrose1970 I can't deny Erin and Jay had chemistry (I think Sophia and Jesse dated for a while), but you could see from miles that his only purpose in the beginning was to be her love interest. He grew up so much after she left, he became Voight's choice to "lead the unit one day", hell of a cop, emotional, honest, sharing his feelings. I understand your point about them staying friends - I like the way they are written as a potential couple, but I don't see chemistry between Tracy and Jesse (in a romantic way I mean) so there is a big chance to be akward when they kiss, haha. But putting the actors aside, Upstead is very well built so we'll see. I love Sophia Bush, but Erin leaving the show opened up the scene for everyone else in such a big way.

This time it ain't nothing too fancy, nothing too much going out of the necessary, but still fulfilling its purpose - showing us how great they work together, and even if they don't admit it, their connection to one another. Their relationship is a really interesting one, and yet again, you did a great job of showing it.

I believe people should drop the whole "we want Erin back" thing - Sophia doesn't want to come back, she didn't want to be on the show, so to continue asking for her... well, there is no point in that. Me too. I hope they write them well and we get away from all the drama - spliting up, getting back together. Scandals, secrets etc. I hope we get one healthy relationship. Not every couple should face drama every 5 seconds.

Upstead will never last. Hailey couldn’t deal with Ruzek throwing a temper tantrum every now and then. No way is she gonna be able to deal with Halstead and his PTSD-ridden self.
Sophia Bush doesn't want to be on the show. At this point I really don't understand why everyone keep asking for her... like it's not gonna happen. I personally love Sophia, but believe the show's better off without Erin.
If they brought Erin back they would need to recast the character. Sophia Bush doesn't ever want to come back and she's said that on numerous of occasions. Sophia didn't like the onset tensions as she didn't get along with Jason Bege, so it's quite rude of you to ask to her to come back and potentially put her in a situation that she's not truly comfortable with all because you want Linstead.
