I grabbed the 30L, I plan on using it as a weekend bag. It’s nice and light for packing up and getting on the go. Nice review! 👍🏾

Would of been a purchase of it had a simple water bottle holder on the side; bottles take up so much volume if we gotta put them inside! And if they accidently leak, better outside then in

Hello Danny I think you already have a lot of backpacks, if at some point you want to sell them; I'm interested in the backpack alpha one niner evade 1.5 (the first version) I went to the link you left when you did the review but it's no longer available, please let me know, I'll appreciate it.

I have the 4k from second sight (they sell it ,not in the chunky pack as well, much cheaper), I agree the 4k isn’t a huge upgrade but for the price I got it for it was worth it over the blue ray. I got the 4k shipped for$27 usd.

Thanks for the review. All the specs I was looking for. unfortunately when you do the maths this bag is a 32.7L bag not the advertised 38L.
Would have loved for this bag to work for me but I need something hat holds camera gear tripod and at least 8 days worth of clothes....also I really want to see compression straps when loading heavy so I dont break any zippers.

Thank you for watching! Might be worth checking out some of the seg and globrider options from matador

Thanks for the review; I have been waiting for someone to do the 38l version!
Could a water bottle fit in the front bottom side-ways pocket? If so, what sort of size?

this came out just after I bought the Aer travel pack. good thing I guess, otherwise I'd need to think a lot harder lol.

Thank you for watching and definitely would have been a tough choice! I do think the aer travel pack 3 is an excellent option to go with

I was looking at this bag and the new Allpa 35L but I ended up with the ULA Dragonfly 36L with the J Straps because those S Straps do not work well with my body if the bag has weight in it.

Thank you for watching! The dragonfly is definitely a great alternative!:)

    Is this really 38L?

Instead of a lock. Those mini carabiners from nite ize work really well.
Thief can still open it but it won't be fast.
    Also really inconspicuous

This or the 40L Tortuga travel Lite? Seems you can’t lose

Thank you for watching! Definitely a tough choice, I prefer the aesthetic and quick access pockets on this one, but I think the tortuga is still a little more comfortable and it has the absolute to add a waist belt and a water bottle pocket which I know some will prefer

No water bottle pocket and no load lifters on a 38 liter bag are huge misses.

No water bottle pocket is a deal breaker for me. Too bad.

water bottle pockets are overrated on a 38L 😂 this is not an EDC backpack, it’s a travel bag. Use cases to use a water bottle are limited during travel days (airport, train station, etc.) it’s far from being essential!

The tiny loop design for the strap is the breaking point made me gave up buying this. It’s a 38L backpack. I rather it take away the “ removable strap” design and give me a beefy cushion strap for a huge travel backpack

Thank you for watching and definitely a fair concern! So far the bag has held up well but i do wish that was a thicker loop for sure
