Hahaha you said doomsday preppers . A friend led me to your channel he said you having trouble with snakes . Your right about farming you have to love it ,, fertilizer and feed prices are on the rise its gonna get rough but farming is worth it in uganda .
Well, Value Farm u have sharpened us very well about farming and all that comes with it and above all its not about money but passion and money will just follow that's if it done professionally, thanks so much guys I'm loving farming even before I have started wow. I really appreciate your good work and long live Value Farm. Asante.
@@ValueFarmUG am still here in Saudi but, when I return, God will and granting me good health. That's my dream. And also u have done a lot in preparing my heart towards farming. I think of nothing else but only farming.
Due to the high cost of importing high performing commercial livestock, an important step forward for developing farmers is to have access to stock from herds established from the best available imported genetics. A high health piggery can sell not only quality stock, but provide semen from elite boars, and run courses for small scale farmers on hoe to inseminate their sows. Boer goats and milk goats also need to have a couple of top local stud herds to improve local stock without the high cost of importing on a continuous basis. Low maintenance dairy herds might better be developed from hybridising local, adapted breeds to imported dairy breeds, and develop a composite capable of producing within an environment hostile to imported European breeds -milking off grass and mineral supplements, with a single milking per day and leaving the calf with the cow during the day, I did a Tuli/Jersey composite in Zimbabwe which was very productive with low input costs.
