@@gobokoboobo4620because chip damage is affected by how much knock back you're taking. since the fire ball gives the biggest knock back no matter what your guard level/weapon, you take pretty much the same dmg with guard or no guard.

Many times my Palico had pulled my butt out of the proverbial and literal fire. Honestly one feature I always wanted is that they would respond to vocal call outs if you had a microphone setup. Would be so cool to call your palicos name for commands. Lol

I prefer slotting divine blessing first since it's fatalis. I couldn't afford many defensive skills since that's 2p scaled (friend was watching from camp)
