Maybe the greatest all-round turntablist/dj in the world. Him and Melo D would be my picks but I slightly favour Short, just because I prefer his tune selection. As much as I love D Styles, who maybe the best pure turntablist musician of them all and Q-Bert for his pure scratching, I’d rather listen to Short in a real club environment. All amazing though.
For all of his amazing scratching skills and his incredibly fast transformers and stabs, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him Flare.
I have always loved and respected Shortkut! He has always been a beast on the decks.
