- The devil’s strategy is always to use fear to distract, intimidate, and manipulate us out of the great work we are doing for the Lord. In this full sermon, Bill Johnson teaches from Nehemiah, and how he dealt with the strategy of the devil to distract him from building the wall. We are all builders, and the devil uses the same tactics with every one of us. Being aware of his strategy, and strengthening ourselves in the Word and Spirit of God will keep us locked into our calling and identity in Christ and protect us from giving in to fear.

Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10-18.
Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

The enemy operates through distraction, intimidation, accusation, deception, and manipulation.
The devil uses fear to add value to busyness. Fear leads us to draw our identity from a busy schedule, instead of the presence of God.
Do not forget the simplicity of devotion to Christ.
Know that the enemy has limited strength.

The devil’s greatest scheme is to teach men that God’s eternal law isn’t really eternal but was put away at the cross; that the law was put away on behalf of the whoring bride when nscripture says that the whoring bride was put away on behalf of the law.
I really needed this today. I honestly wanted to kill myself because I can't seem to control myself in public. I get so angry with people and let fly. It's an old PTSD response. Sometimes I get so tired of fighting this fight but then I heard this sermon from Pastor Bill and I know my God is bigger than all of my weaknesses.
