Best explanation for this on youtube, was always confused because no other videos state that it starts with the half adder and just show a series of full adders
This video is so incredibly informative. Since obtaining my computer science degree, I've become fascinated with computer architecture, and I'm doing a much more comprehensive dive into it. This is a perfect foundational video for this kind of topic. Thank you so much.
Thanks a lot. In the Crash Course Computer Science the Full Adder felt a bit brushed over for me because I didn't get it with what explanation their team provided. You helped me back on track. Much appreciated :)
How exactly do you go from the full adder truth table to the circuit implementation? That's something I haven't seen described and yet it's what my professors wants us to do.
So I understand how to add the number myself what I don’t understand is how to decide which adders to use and where to start in order to even build a full adder like what makes you start off with a AND gate instead of a NOT etc it doesn’t make sense too me
I never understood why is it called Carry IN?? Surely this is just an extra input C?? Why is one called a Carry OUT and one called a Carry IN??!! What previous digits edition? What is an edition of a digit??! Will go onto the next of the full adders...but WHERE??! But why ?? Tring to look for the answer to this question everywhere!!?! How do you go from 2 half adders to one full adder??!
They carry in and carry out refer to the maths operation. Think about when you do normal human(denary) maths. If you add two numbers together you have to carry the ten out from the ones column you added together and then carry it in to the tens column. E.g. 4 plus 8 equals 12 because you carry the 1 to the next column to the left. Binary addition is the same.
1 inch key doesn’t work for the lock. What’s that little dent? Close eyes pretend to meditate. Y’all blew your cover. The pituitary gland is in your brain.NOT your big toe. Cannot massage pituitary gland.
Please do not focus on patterns. It is more important to explain how each case arrives to a certain output. The patterns are just incidental and trivial.

Sir, you are a life saver. I wish my lecturer could it explain as well as like you.
Happy to help
You are the first one who actually explained the carry concept quite well for me. Thanks!
Glad it helped!. Here's another video with more detailed information if you need it - ruclips.net/video/dAlf4q_HhmI/видео.html
I am an idiot. But now, I am an idiot who understands the basics of half adders and full adders. Thank you.
I did a new video about combining them together ruclips.net/video/uEyZZ2alIbQ/видео.html
I didn't know I will ever understand this until I watched this.thank

One of the best explanation I had yet seen. I will save it in my favorites. It’s so good I had to leave another comment. Thanks a million.
thanks that is the clearest explanation I have seen regarding how full and half adders are used for adding binary
I liked your slides and the fact you made a circuit to illustrate how normal addition work in adders. A really good job. Thank you
Excellent! I did not take computer logic or logic gates in college, and now I feel like I just learned enough to get the jist. Thanks.
Thank you for simplifying this concept to people just starting out on this topic.
I'm glad it helped you out 😊😊
@@learnlearnscratch your voice reminds me of somebody

Thanks
I did not understand this lesson in the logic circuit lesson and I learned this topic completely with your video
I wish you were my teacher you explain so well
Government should fund this youtube channel
Still saving lives 3 years later
Thank you so much for this! Finally feel like I have a grasp of it. ❤
Thank you for your video. It really helped me to clear things up!
This is extremely helpful. My pdfs are nowhere as clear as this
Thank you so much! I fully understand how adders work now.
Happy to help!
I would like to thank you becuse u are emazing , u explaint it in way make it so easy , I hope you get 1 million sub. good luck
I completely forgot this channel existed!
Thanks! You made this extremely digestible!
What a excellent teacher!
This really helped me, thank you so much!

thank you! love the visuals and explanation
This is great. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for making this video! Thumbs up
This video is so helpful! Thanks a lot!
Amazing video, helped me out a lot.
excellent video but i wish you went over the circuit diagram a little bit more and explained how that corresponds to your explanation of adders
Here you go Antony - ruclips.net/video/dAlf4q_HhmI/видео.html
Super clear!
Very well done.
very good explanation, good interpretation skills
Awesome video! Very informative!
Excellent video thanks so much!
my lecturer made this stuff look complicating until i watched this tutorial
nice, ill try to build one in minecraft now that i understand it
does the voice remind you of somebody it’s mumbo jumbo
tysm!
Great video!
I tried to find the boolean expression of the truth table of full adder using k-map but the result isn't the same on the video. Why?
Thank you
Woah! Its brilliant!
respect ty sir
Magnificent
Can you make more videos like this one about logic circuits please
thanks a lot for the video but i have a question how can we make a full adder using the D flip flop???
amazing
this would be cool if it were explained with minecraft redstone
Which programs you re using for presentations?
Why is my full adder not working? When i put A,B and Cin on?
Do you have any videos on using only nor gates and nand gates for this?
Hi Ryan, I don't at the moment but I will add it to my list of videos to do! Thank you!
@@learnlearnscratch great thank you! You make this alot easier to understand 😏
deal done!
Watched
I love it

very helpful, thank you! not sure how much do you pay for a cup of coffee in UK nowadays, but I hope that I got you at least an espresso ;)
Thank you very much Krystyna! I'll grab an espresso on my Spanish Camino next week!
Why is the largest result 255? Can't the largest result of the sum be 9 bits long if we have a carry at the end?
Largest if 8 bits. If 9 bits then the largest is 511, and so on. 256 is the smallest with 9 bits.
👏👏👏
8 bit adder looks like human centipede 🏃♂️🏃♂️💀☠️
cool!!

you messed with full adder part that i understan noothing, but ty for half adder part
I wish our professor had explained it like your vid, things would have been so much easier; instead I went on rote memorization like a Macau Parrot.
Glad it helped!. Here's another video with more detailed information if you need it - ruclips.net/video/dAlf4q_HhmI/видео.html
