Great videos! (Drawings of the confused Bird made me laugh, wich made me loose my concentration on the tutorial. So i had to rewatch a few times! :') )
I’m confused on if you use a drawing tablet while using these types of programs. I’m really new to animation as a whole and simple questions like this really help me out. Thanks
I just wonder if there's any way to save a template with some unable to access freeze parts, just to make sure it won't be modify (or screwed) by accident for non technical members of the staff considering that in production the animamators need to stay away of some technical rigging stuff. Also, would like to know if there's a way to save a template as an "instance" (or as a container [or as a reference]), so it could be automatically update if the original file get any kind of adjustment...
When I try to import my rig, it shows me my node view has the character and all its' parts but I can't actually see the drawing in the camera/drawing view. What am I doing wrong?
Hey there i wanted to ask i downloaded some free rigs from gumroad to practice in toon boom but i can't see the character in stage neither in opengl nor in render view, it is showing up in node view, i am a beginner so maybe i did something wrong but none of the rigs that i have downloaded are showing up nor jesse j jones tutorial's source file, plz help me because if i couldn't even do this, how would i learn the software., Neither the library is showing anything.

Depends!
it depends on what you do, for hand drawn animation you need a tablet, for cut out and comp you might be good with a mouse :O
Thank you
why did you choose toonboom? for animation.
Because it is in my opinion the best tool out there.
