ALL these bands deserve the ultimate respect. ILOVE them all! But......there is only ONE that is the greatest Metal band in the world today. And that band is LOVEBITES! Wolpack forever! SO PHENOMENAL!
Melodies, riffs, and musical tastes vary from person to person, but technically speaking, Lovebites are at a different level in terms of singers and players. For example, Lovebites can easily imitate what Bandmade does, but Bandmade could never play a song like Lovebites' SSS!
Always a risky business claiming any list is The 10 Best" of anything. Especially where there's dedicated fanbases willing to support their favourite band/s. Personally I'd have kept it to currently working bands, and done a separate list for bands that aren't currently active. For example including Gallhammer that haven't been active since 2013 looks out-of-place in this list.
i'm with you on #1 and #2 but after that the choices get harder. new entries might include the revamped lineup for HAGANE , then PARADOXX , AND PALENEO. and also EAST OF EDEN. there are so many great girl groups it's almost beyond belief. i am 71 and discovered japanese female bands in 2016. the states have never seen the likes of this and imo NO band from the usa could even get your #10 spot. and please nobody say THE RUNAWAYS. they were pretenders that don't even deserve a mention. if someone had told me 10 years ago that japanese girls would crush the world of rock and metal i would have tried to have them committed.
I could never make a "list". There are just too many awesome all female bands from Japan right now. At least I've been able to see Band-Maid, Nemophila and Lovebites live. I'd love to see Aldious as well, but I don't think they'll be touring again. Trident, Bridear and Hanabie are on my bucket list, too.
@@JDsHouseofHobbies LOVEBITES is by far my favorite. i was waiting to see their locations for their expanded tour dates and of course it was dallas , l.a. and san fran. so atlanta was the closest to me - 1200 miles away and i am so disappointed there were no shows in the northeast. so you saw them ? i,m gonna have to hurt you !!
Any "list" post opens up criticism. I don't hate the list but here's my criticism: Band-Maid should be 1 due the quality of their songs. Lovebites is very good but I find their songs overly dramatic and far less fun. Still top 5 thought. Nemophila is 2 for me. Most importantly, where is Hanabie?
