Hi from southeast Alaska. I get the wet feet problems… never thought of using a side grinder. I might try a dremel with attachment but usually do ok with clippers. I do have some overgrown boys I need to tackle soon.
You are so funny and I love the thoughtfulness in making a video with your neighbors goat. I know you’d never let your own goats hooves get that bad. Learning to trim goat hooves is key in taking care of goats. The ear protection for the goat was so funny….I lol’d when I saw that. 😂

This might be the most informative video I've watched. Putting ear muffs on the goat is incredibly thoughtful as well as hilarious! And your accent is too cute 🥰
What is the brand name of the copper coat. I have one that has formed a larger than usual soft area. But this season, it has been very wet and warmer than usual, so I think it's a result of the wetness. She usually has superior feet with great shape & requires much less trimming than my other dairy girls.
