    Thanks for putting this video up. It made it so much easier to fix my machine. I don't think I would have succeeded with just the written instructions provided by my parts provider.

    My machine started stalling, actually I just bought it used for cheap and found out it has no power and you can stop it with your little finger, so I opened it up thinking the gears are gone, but not. There is a little pin that holds the gears and the shaft together, and that was broken so it was turning just by friction. Easy and cheap fix. Thanks for making a video. I could easily open it up without having to think ;)

    Thanks for the video. Do you think it's better to buy the original plastic replacement wheel for the Musso, or would you advise to get the (2.5 x more expensive) aluminium wheel?

    Excellent and informative video. Thank you. I recently purchased the Pola 5030 and have put it to good use in my home kitchen. Question - As is the case i think with others, I have to be very careful when cleaning the area at the top of the shaft. There are times material wicks up from bowl areas along the outside of the shaft housing. Try to avoid material finding its way internal down the shaft housing. Short of disassembly there appears to be no way to clean and maintenance this area without disassembly and removing the shaft.. Are there any cleaning or maintenance procedures? Thanks again..

    Thanks for the great video. I had mine fixed by an electrical appliance place and ever since the blade sits about 4mm from the bottom of the bowl, meaning I get a frozen layer in the bottom of the bowl every time I make ice cream. Do you know if there's an adjustment I can make to lower the blade? Thanks in advance.

      Hi dear Matt , thank you for your comment , we can assume that one of the parts was placed in a wrong way , please try to follow the steps in the video again in order to check if any of the parts (the gear or the cover of the gear or even the bowl itself) sitting in the wrong way so its "pushing" the blade higher than it should be.

      Yes ... you can adjust it. The top of the gearbox is held in place to the bowl by two hex bolts. You can get at these and adjust the height of the gearbox slightly.
      Hopefully this diagram shows it better than I can explain it - the two bolts are on the part labeled '26'.

    Hello MiniPCaffe - I assume the procedure is similar for the Musso Mini model? There isn't a removable front panel of course since the Mini is all one wrap-around oval.
    I am having issues with my Mini making one "clonk" per revolution since there is a little side to side play at the paddle. It is still chilling and there is no scratching inside the bowl so I suspect the vertical shaft is just rocking a little inside the column of the bowl.

      @@minipcaffe I will be able to do that in a couple of days. I have already ordered a gear/shaft as well as the bottom gearbox bushing and the top bushing/shaft all for the Lussino/Piccolo. They are on their way over from Italy but got held up in France due to Fedex "Operational Delays". If I get into any difficulty I will write to you with pictures for help.

    Have you guys ever experienced the condenser on a Stella working inefficiently, that is, taking twice as long to freeze as it should ? I've cleaned the condenser but I now wonder if the refrigerant has leaked previously.

    • @minipcaffe
      @minipcaffe  5 лет назад

      Hi dear Tony , thanks for your comment , yes - its possible that some of the refrigerant leaked out of the system , for that we would suggest you to send your machine for checking in a service center.

      @Wallace Hi , since its a professional kind of job (gas and high pressure) we would deeply suggest you to have a professional or a certified technician to do this job , take care and enjoy your ice cream machine 😊

    Hi @minipcaffe, thanks for a great video. I have followed your steps since my engine started making alot of noise when i would start making ice cream. When I opened it up, i found that the engine seemed to be loose. The large bolt underneath the machine was plenty tight but when we unscrewed it, there is a large circular washer looking piece that is loose. Unfortunately, it looks like the only way to tighten it is to open up the motor and tighten it from the inside. Do you have any idea how I would do this? thanks

      Hi dear Justin , thank you for your comment , since opening the engine requires some professional skills and electricity involved in it we will definitely suggest you to take it to a local professional for a look.

    Hi, so I have the replacement gear, but there is no hole for the locking bolt on the center part of the gear. Do I have to drill it myself??

    • @minipcaffe
      @minipcaffe  2 года назад

      Please email us a picture of the gear you have and we will try help you (:

      @@minipcaffe Hi, so I got the Hex t and it seems to be the right size and all, but it's like stuck and doesn't turn. I sprayed WD40 to the area, but it didn't do anything 😕. Do you have any recommendations on what to do?

      @@tcslam0310 Hi , we are sorry to know that you are having those issues with opening those screws , we assume that some moisture have been leaked in during the time and now its rusty inside. you did well with the WD40 but we suggest you to try more with that from some different angles it should work it should not be very difficult . you are very welcome to send us a video of the screw to our email : info@minipcaffe.com , we will let our team to have a look. good luck 😊😊
