  • Join Will & Andrew as they build out a dashboard for recent orders for an Admin to adjust. This is the first in a series of how to create robust multi-tenant applications (two different FlutterFlow projects interacting with the same database). At the end of this video we showcase how editing the orders in the admin panel showcases the changes to the user in the shop application.
    Admin Project Clonable: app.flutterflo...
    Shop App Clonable: marketplace.fl...
Join Andrew & Will in order to find out how to become a better designer, applying best practices into your application and how the power of FlutterFlow unlocks your potential as a developer, designer, engineer, project manager and founder. We want to showcase and teach from our vast experience in product design, launching multiple apps and how to improve your user engagement and your workflow through the product development cycle.

Great video again, but about the firestore rules: it is certainly possible to write custom rules, but what is important to note, you must the also explicitly query firebase with those conditions. Unlike supabase, where only the data you as a user should have access to is returned. I found the later much more convenient when working with multiple user roles and sharing access only to certain objects/documents/rows. This quickly became a mess when working with firebase (tagging users in every collection and syncing those lists across collections, which is a nightmare.

    Great content!!
As always, something new to learn from these sessions, Thanks.
Regarding admin roles, How do I structure the UI and Firebase for the admin user to post a product with multiple bur identical variants? In this case, the client(s) purchase from a limited inventory of 6 to 10 similar variants (difference is the visible serial tag) of the product. This can not be done via API call.
    The structure is like this:
category => Product => Variant Items
It will be of great help if you guys (or anyone in the comments section) can share some ideas in the next video or refer me to an existing video that addressed this.

Hi Andrew. Thanks for the stream guys. The shop App is not clonable; the link redirects to the marketplace store and creating a project using that template does not work. Would you be kind enough to share the link similar to the Admin app? The admin app is clonable.

Great video folks! From what I understood, you will need to have two projects (ff) synced in to the same database (firebase, supabase, etc.) Does that mean you'll have to pay for two FF plans? Thanks in advance!
