      @@PanhandleFrank if we read our bibles and pay attention to how the apostles move, we would see that they were very much involved with politics. There was a reason they were all killed the way they were. They made an impact in the complete culture of the time.

    • @PanhandleFrank
      @PanhandleFrank 3 месяца назад

      @@unkown312 I agree. The apostles _as individuals_ were involved in politics and had a vast impact on their culture. They prophetically spoke truth to power.
      That's not the same as arguing for the involvement of _the institution_ of the Church in the State. Both institutions are servants of God, but have different jurisdictions and tools of rule. And again, morality must exist in civil government.
      So when you initially told me, "No" ... what did I say that you were disagreeing with?

    It is that simple. Are we going to pick the side of King Solomon, King David, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Job, Peter, Esther, Zaccheaus, Samson, Noah, King Manasseh, etc. or pick the side of King Herod, Pharaoh, Herodias, Jezebel, Sodom and Gomorrah, Korah, Dathan, Abiram, Ananias, Sapphira, etc.? There are two political parties exactly behaving like those people from the Bible. God bless you. Just my two cents. Have a great day.
