That wouldnt follow the anime. Takuya had Izumi and Tomoki, Koji had Koichi and Junpei. Unless they for some reason retcon the plot of Frontier like 20+ years later then it just had to be this way. If anything it's Bandai's fault for not making everyone the right color the first time 🤷♂️
