Oh my! How I’ve missed the mountains this year. We have a “secret spot” 😂 a bit further north of where you are. Used to be very isolated, but the secret got out Good ole charcoal burgers YUM!

Thank you for this! It's exactly what I wanted to see. The ride down the road showed me just what we were looking at neighbor-wise. We love finding free camping on forest roads.We're taking a group with us who are camping novices, so we dodn't anything TOO rustic. This is perfect! Great video!

So, when I hit the 1K subs I'm going to make a full walkthrough of it. Jut added (a lot) Multi-color LEDs strips so I can make all the lights red. Heading to Cherry Spring State park for the weekend and white lights are discouraged at night there.

I loved northern NM. I keep saying I am going back and just haven't done it yet. Had I have went west 175 or so miles further than I went east (Altanta State Park), I could have been at Red River. Crazy sounding but it's true. Thanks for sharing. See ya soon!
I do wish we had more forest or woodland park up spots in the uk. Perfect for little meet ups. Hoe lovely that you got to catch up with frugal. Its nice sleeping out under the stars but you wake up with Dew all over you!
A lot of sweet camping spots in the Northern NM mountains. Your in my neck of the woods. Check out Forest Rd. 376 in the Jemez Mountains , Gilliam Tunnels and camping in the Pecos NF if you have time going right through that area. Great Video !
Had no problems in NM. Angel Fire is a tiny town though. Not even a Walmart. :) I heard they have opened the NM State Parks back up. Boondocking sites were pretty full but there was still plenty of room for more.

Temps were in the low 80's at the peak of the day. Lows dipped into the upper 30's. Mostly though it was around 70 :)

Get me a hunk of that aspen , and not a little stick. Had had someone bring me a piece of wood you couldn't get a pencil out of.
