I’m thinking of getting this for our dragon boat team but as the boat is 40 ft long I don’t want to deafen the people sitting closest to the speaker and I’m wondering if pairing 2 speakers to the same headset would work as it would mean we could have the volume on each speaker lower but the people sitting further away could still be able to hear it?
Do you think this is the still best a year later now, or would you recommend something better now? My husband is an instructor and he keeps loosing his voice teaching. Thank you
In 8:19 minute of the video you stand 3 feet away (may be) from speaker. I would like to know how it works if You stand 10-15 feet away (as they claim 20 feet) from the speaker and use headset.
I was actually about 20 feet or even further away from the camera. As for the speaker and headset distance, I also tried walking even further away than 20 foot away, and it still worked fine
I have one from the same manufacturer - just a louder model (SD-S28). If the mike has a high impedance output, you can plug the receiver into the wired mike input. If the mike has a low impedance output (XLR), you'd need an impedance matching transformer. You may need an adapter plug or cable since the mike input is 1/8".
