I have been studying both the Capital and this town for at least 3 months to retire in. I have yet to make my final pick put it appears this city may be the one. My non stop party life as slowed down to half it was 30 years ago and it appears to be more family like ,which I hope to find and raise another one, after a divorce coming up this month. The locals are always friendly, seems to be real, and that is a huge plus. I understand I will have to learn to speak Khmer, which appears to be difficult, but it will happen. I am positive I will love this country and meet ex-pats and locals to make my life easier. To be honest it was not an easy decision to make, leave everything behind and start all over again, yet I have no negatives at all about it.The amount of personal possessions I had were not needed by any means, they were just toys which I barely used. I have been told to think hard about it, I did, and I am making a huge mistake, I am not.

You will see the word KTV all around Cambodia, KTV = karaoke Television. A place that you drink, sing and select many women to sit near you just to keep you company but you have to give them tips money after. But I think it’s best not to go, but if you want to see what’s KTV is like
