One of best documentary I have ever seen on Antoni Gaudi, one of the bestest architects of his time, the architect who changed the way of perceiving architecture. Thank you so much for your enormous efforts to bring this amazing piece
Thank you so much for making this video, I enjoyed it a lot. Just visited Sagrada Familia, I was so touched by it's beauty and the story, I cried. Sad and tragic story of a genius man.
I will donate dear brother, when I can. Your appreciation and love for the maestro is evident. The basilica is alive. And so is the memory of the most uqique architect to ever grace this world. Thank you for your documentary, blessings to you.
The moral Lesson here is that don't ever underestimate small item projects because sometimes the breakthrough of your career will begin there. Just like Gaudi his breakthrough in Architecture began from a cabinet. Thanks for these documentaries. Shout out to you from Young Architect from the Philippines
Now days it's hard to see the impact one person can make. In a time he lost everything thinking the world had left him. He focused on that church. And as many artists from times past became more famous after death than life. I'm sure he would have never imagined over 5k people at his funeral. The fact they are still building this church is amazing and to (or close to) his vision is absolutely wonderful.
I am in the early stages of researching his life for my essay, this was very good introduction, it gave me a sense of who Gaudi was behind all these magnificent structures. Thank you for this!
This is the best documentary of late Architect Antoni Gaudi I've watched so far. My heart aches, I cried, I was inspired, I feel that this documentary made me admire him so much! Thank you BlessedArch for this great video. God bless you more!
Just visited Sagrada Familia a few weeks ago after having been an student of art and architecture for 40 years. His brilliance was absolutely breathtaking. The interior is magnificent. Please go and see and feel it for yourself!!
I have been a real admirer of gaudi's work since my archi student days...but the documentary just made me realise how much I have been a fan of his work. Thanks a ton!!
Antoni Gaudi's architecture is......magical, like a fictional realm....like lord of the rings or harry potter.... Top quality documentary beautifully narrated ❤️❤️
This documentary just brought me closer to architecture and the keen eye for the craft ... Thanks to Antoni Gaudi .. also brilliant edits👍🏻👍🏻 has to be one of the best Blessedarch collections.. hoping for more such content
*When I was 17 I picked up a discount cassette tape by Alan Parsons Project called"Gaudi."* *The song "La Sagrada Familia," was so powerful and the whole album was enlightening.* *He became my favorite Architect.* *My son's marching band planned a trip to Barcelona and I was able to go.* *After 30 years of first hearing that song about Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, in 2017 I listened to that very song as I entered the cathedral; it was magical.*
Nice that you went to sagrada familia. I wish i could go there. If i went there, i would cry becuase he is my favorite architect and my inspiration to become an Architecture.
Only thing better than this thorough documentary is going to Barcelona and seeing for yourself. My visit in 2019 is etched in my mind forever. One note for edit is 1882 and 1883 is when La Sagrada Familia origins. Video states 1982-83.
His style is just so beautiful. You can’t appreciate it fully until you see it in person. La Sagrada Familia is unreal and insane to witness in person.
What sets you apart from other documentary about architects is, that you yourself are an architect so, your insight as architect here is what draws me to watch more and sub.
How can Antoni Gaudi have started to work on the biggest project in his life in 1983? He died in 1926! Probably a typo which is a minor detail This documentary in itself is a piece of art. A wonderful way to embed well-researched content into perfectly selected video clips. the combined effect is astonishing and gives the viewers an idea of that time in history in architector in general and "art" in particular.
Thanks so much for this video. Now I finally have something that I send to my friend and finally be able to explain why I love Gaudi so much. He is my North Star.
Great video. Just back from Barcelona and developed a fascination with this remarkable man and his inspired work. Please note that at 20:02 there is an errant reference, “In the year 1982 Saint Joseph Association had acquired a complete block in Barcelona.” I assume you meant 1882.
i use to live in barcelona for almost 10yrs , use to visit his landmarks all the time. in the video 5.40 in the picture plaza reial, i use to live there the part of the city names gotico, its in the center, very close to the las ramblas. wish people did more videos about barcelona, its amazing city. tw sagrada familias first brik was placed in 1882 not 1982.
Rishabh, how the channel sometimes take on this mellow tone is heart warming. His words in the last, made me smile. Getting ripe content off Blessed Arch.
Absolutetly amazing documentary. I Even cried with how profund was his work..your video has perfect timing toughts ,music, data, pictures, new suscriber❤ cheers from Colombia
Hi. All are very good video showing life of architects. Also you could make with reference to books or their thought process wrt their works. Will recommend all my students to watch your videos. All the best. God bless
Thank you so much! This video is really really good. I feel bad pointing this out, but in the end of the video you said that 2026 will be the 250th anniversary of his death, instead of the 100th.
i was litreally crying after this video this gr8 architect was having such big griefs and sorrows in life though he worked 😭,and students like me who gets redo for 2 sheets are blaming teachers 😭😥😞.its like redoing sheet is biggest sorrow for us ....
The sharp angular figures shown in the Sagrada Familia are not Gaudí designed. They are part of the side of the cathedral built after his death. I met the sculptor as he worked in the '90s.
Wonderful documentary on this superhuman architect. The dates and times came across quite erratic when I had closed captioning on. I wished some of it was true. Like having the master himself with us these past several years.
One of best documentary I have ever seen on Antoni Gaudi, one of the bestest architects of his time, the architect who changed the way of perceiving architecture. Thank you so much for your enormous efforts to bring this amazing piece
I am so glad you enjoyed it ❤️
@@blessedarch take a bow for your efforts 🙌 well can we have a video on Patrick Geddes and FLW?
@@lipikapandey Surely will put them on the list and have them up on the channel soon
@@blessedarch thanks
Thank you so much for making this video, I enjoyed it a lot. Just visited Sagrada Familia, I was so touched by it's beauty and the story, I cried. Sad and tragic story of a genius man.
I'm binge watching Gaudi videos before visiting Barcelona. This is the best!!!
Great documentary on Gaudi! Thank you so much. To people: the only worth watching documentary on Gaudi on youtube in July 2024.
I will donate dear brother, when I can. Your appreciation and love for the maestro is evident. The basilica is alive. And so is the memory of the most uqique architect to ever grace this world. Thank you for your documentary, blessings to you.
Please note in chapter 4. That it is 1882 not 1982 when Sagrada Familia is initiated. Gaudi began work in the 19th century, the 1800's.
IT BOGGELS MY MIND when he said the 1980s, while Gaudi died in the 1920s. Is it the ghost of Gaudi who designed the Church? LOL
Apologies, made an error there
This was a thorough documentary. Thank you for putting it together and sharing his story with us.

From Chicago Illinois Thanks for sharing. It's amazing life of Anthony Gaudi.
His style is just so beautiful. You can’t appreciate it fully until you see it in person. La Sagrada Familia is unreal and insane to witness in person.
Unique images of the early Gaudi. That is so interesting and illuminating. A great work and a honor of this great architect.
Thank you so much
