If you are willing to wait some time to receive the robot, I’d say EMO is probably the best for cost versus capabilities. Miko 3 is cheaper in comparison and can be bought on Amazon but has just come out so I can’t say how good Miko 3 will be. My favorite robot is Jibo, but getting one on eBay can be difficult to find cheaply and setup is a pain if you don’t have an Android device (Jibo’s iPhone app is gone).

Misa is amazing. I was an early Misa backer on Indiegogo and find Misa is a giant leap forward in robotics.
