Should Saints hire Darren Rizzi as their permanent head coach?
Looking good so far
Depends on what they finished as if they go 7-1,6-2 or 5-3 I would say a slight adjustment to the roster and full starters back we can see

I think he has the passion and the determination
They way they finish will decide weather he stays or goes but I like what he brings passion, spirit and the locker room presence
Rizz is an awesome clock manager and he goes to bat for his players.

As a special teams coach, you deal with both offense and defense. If you’re kicking, receiving, or trying to block; it’s mix of it all.
I could listen to Matt and Sean talk ball all day, straight up. These dudes are just great together. Great analysis and great takes.
I love Sean Salisbury’s entire take here. Unfortunately Rizzi could win out and some people are still going to say go external just because they don’t want a “retread” or prefer an offensive guy all because of DA’s ineptitude🤦♂️ We have to be open to ALL options.
Great episode. He knows what he’s talking about. Team means nothing if your players don’t believe in you. Check rizzi resume, he has had some great mentors

Sean is always your best guest. OTOH, I won’t even watch if you have Theriot on.
If Rizzi can end the season as a coach with a winning record with the roster he has to work with, give the man a chance and see what he can do when he gets the guys he wants via draft picks and free agency. I myself am curious to see who he would go for position wise in the draft.
4-1 or even 3-3 with the injuries they have had he would need the job for sure. Agreed.

Win 4 games, break-even, put out the dumpster fire, and Rizzi should be coach of the year.

6-2 is winning 75 % percent of your games that’s a no brainer u hire him
If he wins out and makes the playoffs yes he should be a strong candidate.
Strong candidate ? r u kidding ? if someone can take this roster (no Lattimore, no Adebo, no receiving corpus, no elite qb) to the play-offs - the coach of this team should be awarded coach of the year lol.
Even if he don’t work out as HC, why fire him. He’s a good ST coach.

How bout do your due diligence and interview and I mean seriously interview other coaches. Stop hiring because you just “like”someone. I remember folks were happy DA got the job and now look at us 😒

As a Saints fan I’m going admit I’m sick and tired people hyping on him for beating trash team we barley beat Falcons I’ll admit should’ve lost to Falcons just got lucky then beating Browns people hyping after that like come on 😂😂🤦🏻♂️ that’s reach it’s Browns.
