- A selection of lead sounds available on the Digitone and Digitone Keys. This isn't every lead sound, just some of our favorites.
All of the sounds can be found on the Digitone and Digitone Keys as presets or downloaded as Sound Packs from the Elektron website.

I wanted to jump in here and say, since most channels can't keep up with year old videos to respond:
It's an amazing machine. I traded up from my first synth and I don't think this one's ever leaving my setup. I often plug the Model: Cycles into it to have a larger number of buttons and tracks but honestly, it's plenty machine on its own.
Like the Cycles, I find this thing to be incredibly fast at getting into a "unique groove".... The factory patches will teach you how to build your own.
It's very intuitive, but deeper than I expected. The attached Fatar keys feel great and work like a synth keyboard, not like a MIDI keyboard attached to a Digitone. It's barely more expensive than the desktop unit...
Do it before they discontinue and the price skyrockets.

@@r3dsnow757 I'm going to have to say that I would take the Digitone Keys over just about anything in that range. If you like the feel of keys, it's hard to beat: my Moog feels as good, but lacks aftertouch...but yeah it's that good for real. 👍🏿
@@r3dsnow757 also, if you're not in the mood, you can just shift your attention further left and use it like a small box Digitone. Its really great.
@@nerfytheclown I mean..a lot of people will have a midi keyboard to use with the digitone..
My main concern is the size! Isn't it like really long? I guess its more meant as a studio piece/master keyboard.

Hi, nice to meet you, I've got a question about midi controlling. I'd like to use Digitone Keys as midi controller but its keyboard is affected by velocity and I want to use full body sound without pressing too much. In Digitone mode I can set velocity curve in setting menu, but in midi mode I can't find anything about it. Neither in external mode. Can you help me? Regards Damiano

I’ve debated running audio out from individual or stereo output into a pedal, and sending it back to audio in of the Digitone. Have you tried this?
Interesting idea but I haven't tried it because it may cause feedback.
@@ElektronVideoKlub I'm thinking there's a way it can be done if you have it recording via overbridge. Like lowering the volume on the DNkeys inputs. Dunno, I'll have to experiment!
I've been too sketchy about that, but you can get hella feedback just plugging the Cycles in and turning knobs up in the sub-menu. For real.
