This interview you did with the caretaker was fantastic. One thing I've really enjoyed about all of your videos is how you connect with people along the trail, and get them to share their stories. Spellbinding.
Oh man! What an absolutely amazing experience! Moments in time, etched in your memory forever. I am so happy for you! .... Loved so much about all of this video. The interview and learning about the huts, the people. Listening to your thoughts- I think that is the enchanting part of your videos. Would you have the same thoughts if you were a "member" of the 1%..? I doubt it. I am beginning to think of you as the wondering wanderer. In a complimentary and respectful way. ... Glad you had a weather window for Mt Washington. And that Northern Light show! I think Mother Nature smiles on you. ... Stay strong, be safe, keep smiling! 💜
Loved the tour of the hut and interview with the caretaker. So cool to see it in the in-between season, before the crowds rush in. Same with your hike through the presidentials and the northern lights---Wow! What an amazing moment of awe. Perfect place to be for the auroras.
Absolutely the best video you have posted! With the insider information of hut life to the views and narration of the hike over the presidential mountains wow😀thanks
Totally enjoyed the views and photography! You are making tracks ahead at a good pace! Thanks for sharing your experiences. It has been fun to follow along!
This is your best video. I am so grateful you took me, sharing your wonder in the moment. Those views! I loved every second of this video. Great job. Where are you now?
@@JaruWalks Can't wait to see what's coming. This is the first time I've followed something like this. Everybody else will be a let-down. Get some rest, be safe and we'll see you on the PCT!
A few more questions that I'm sure most of us want to know: 1. Can you explain the "Jaru" name? 2. Are you on schedule to do all three trails? 3. Can you rank the three trails in terms of difficulty? 4. What do you do for a living? 5. How long have you wanted to do this? 6. Why did you want to do this? 7. How long have you been planning this? 8. How the hell will you ever top this?
Hey Jaru, always look forward to the next videos and this was so cool, loved all of it! I was so stoked with the northern lights but dayum, you got the best location! Epic. Question ... at sunset there is a big building in the shot not far from you. Is that another hostel/lodge situation? If open[?], did you at all consider staying there because dark was coming on and you were way up there?
It was an AMC hut, but it was closed. I would need to push on anyway because I wanted to get back below treeline and i had more miles to make. I like night hiking anyways too.
@@RC-qf3mp Oh, I thought you were referring to another section. That ufo-object is a lens flare. I'm filming the sun directly in the shot, and the lens flare is lined up with the sun, and it wobbles as my hands move.

That is amazing stuff. I get too excited and start commenting before the end of videos, but WOW. The whole show. Lucky you.
Amazing land- and cloud-scapes here. So beautiful.

Why is there an orange dot in the middle of Iowa on your map? I’m asking because I’m from Iowa.
@@WalkingwithWendy I edited the image on my iPhone, my finger accidentally tapped on Iowa, leaving an orange dot on Iowa.
You’re in the top 1%…. Of bad as* hikers!!!!
7:59 UFO. 🛸 we are not alone. 👽
It was a moth that flew across the beam of my headlamp.
@@JaruWalks yeah, right. And Roswell was a weather balloon. 🙄
