Charger overheating issue

and How is the performance in both gaming & working after many months?

Everything is good until you start gaming. While gaming you need to plugin the charger that heats according to the graphics settings of the game and size of it. It's battery life is decent you can expect 3-4 hour in heavy usecases

If you will play at higher graphics settings then it might lag during battle otherwise it will be playable.
I would suggest you consider 16GB ram
