I wish these songs were more famous, I always have a hard time finding them when I want to hear again XD
After the ep 14th of sotsu , I can't take anything seriously anymore at this point . 💀
Watching these motion graphics after watching Gou hit different. This should've been the end. Rika beat fate and surpassed the endless June of '83. She and her friends won their future. But something or someone has dragged her back. Is it Takano? Featherine? Some other force? Only time will tell.
imagine if the wtc motion graphic team came back with a gou specific work;;;; but yeah matsuribayashi feels so bittersweet now :(

@tsukixan actually imo I prefer higurashi too though I have to admit that umineko pretty much overshadowed Higurashi when it came to depth and mystery. Umineko was probably Ryukishi's greatest work, but I can emphatize better with the charas of HIgurashi

No matter what, it's all psychology, and it's understandable. Miyo, who almost died in the orphanage, was saved by Takano Hifumi. Naturally, she ended up treating Hifumi as her only reason for living, and so because of that kind of upbringing, she was taught to become ruthless and cruel just to reach her goals of making Hifumi proud. It's a sad, sad thing.

Heheh, your comment made me chuckle, because it's true! But, all the people I've shown umineko to say Ange and Maria are the best.
I hated Ange, to be honest. But, in the end of EP8, you get to see she /moved on/. "Fucking finally", sure, but it's...still nice.
And Maria? Well, she is indifferent to me, but she was a remarkable character. Even if annoying, only at age 9, she could repress all the hate Rosa poured on her...And even say she didn't remember her mother being mean to her...

Because in the novels, you get to see the characters in full color. It is beautiful. Even though it's tragic, characters like Maria and Ange show you how beautiful it can be. Sure, Eva was understimated because she was a woman, but even then, she was a good mother and a nice wife; even if she pushed her broken dreams onto george, she treasured him a lot. This we are shown in EP3.
I will sub the umineko too, but I am waiting to my friend to give me the video with good resolution, so then I can sub...

Yeah, the thing I don't like very much about the art style is that everyone (not only girls) seem to lack eternal organs.

Idk. I do think Umineko's mystery is FAR more intricate than Higurashi, but I like the latter for its simplicity. A small town full of small people living even the smallest lives to the fullest. I think we can all relate to that on some level.
