Thank you very much for this.Retired now being an illustrator and artist. Going to give this a bash. Always wanted to do Lino prints back in art school.

Always thought I was doing something wrong when I cut the back and ended up with shitty edges! Don't know why it never occurred to me to cut it the other way round, thank you so much

6:11 Enjoying a snort from a bottle clearly marked with the word "POISON" and a skull and crossbones? So much for lino cutting being the domain of dainty aesthetes and gentle, timid souls! :)

I love the purple spirits in the fancy bottle! I certainly haven't seen that for sale anywhere. I would have bought it if I had!

A laser printer, paper that stickers come on (the shiny side), and Liquitex Gloss Heavy Gel, will transfer an image to lino in great detail.

    Hi Chris,
You talk about the marker you use to draw the artichoke, would you tell me the brand and what size it is? Thanks so much, enjoying your videos.

shimon balman Hello Shimon. I use a product called wet and dry which is an abrasive sponge that can work with water.

The cameraman is breathing directly in my ears with his mouth widely opened. How distracting and annoying could be that!

Appreciate your techniques which I am finding very useful indeed, but I was horrified by the lack of rubber gloves on on your hands while rubbing onto the paper.
Acetone is very toxic. Otherwise, thank you for your terrific demos. Stay safe!

Acetone is not very toxic. It is the main ingredient in nail polish remover. You should certainly use it in a well ventilated space, and you shouldn't drink the stuff - and it is flammable, of course - but it is otherwise pretty innocuous. Check the MSDS when in doubt.
