I got my BAI Mirror on December 2022, and about eight months later in 2023 there was another model of the same. Which is the approach to the threading for my specific machine, 3/4 or 1 /3/4? Can either be used, or is preferable the latest approach? Thanks for your video, has plenty of clear and precise explanations.
On the previous model, the top thread was wound one and a half turns, but on the new model THE MIRROR, the top thread is wound only half a turn. This change is due to the higher thread tension in the current line guide. If the thread were wound one and a half turns, the tension would be too high, so we've adjusted it to half a turn to maintain optimal tension and stability.
4:17 This goes against the other threading videos from BAi TV. The other video says wrap all the way around the tension wheel. I’ll put a link to the video that says wrap all the way around. ruclips.net/video/l7MRmxBtuZM/видео.htmlsi=4YoLEnKIzNygbmpr @ 1:40 Which way 3/4 or 1 3/4
Thank you for your response; I appreciate your attention to detail. For THE MIRROR, our engineers recommend following the steps in the video and wrapping the thread halfway around. This is the latest approach.
@@BAIEmbroideryMachineTV Ok thanks for clarifying. This machine is incredible. I can’t wait to see your new digitizing software. I’m waiting to see how it compares to Bernina creator 9.
@@discipleoftheword1785 Thanks! You can check out this channel: www.youtube.com/@InstitchCloud, where they release a lot of interesting software tools. There's plenty to look forward to!
@@BAIEmbroideryMachineTV maybe that was the case more dragging load is lost on the wheel and I see my thread tension is not too high even though thread breaks happens?
bai tv instructions for (bai mirror 1501-2023) told us to put the thread on the tension wheel for one and half circle not only half circle like what you have done here. is that machine different in this case? the link for the (wrap the thread one and half circle: ruclips.net/video/LwaGUvX-ZLc/видео.htmlsi=sCmGBGfDW2Jx6wW6
The top thread on THE MIRROR now wraps only half a turn around the winder because our current thread tensioner has a higher tension than previous models. Wrapping one and a half turns would increase the tension further, so we’ve adjusted it to a half turn.🥰
