    The UN Envoy Mr Pedersen was clearly wrong when he said "No one saw this coming". We have now learned that the Iranian Security Forces in Syria advised Assad leadership 2 months ago that there was significant chatter coming out of Idlib that a Turkiye sponsored military action was imminent. But Assad was already mentally "checked out" at that time.

    • @iRelevant.47.system.boycott
      @iRelevant.47.system.boycott 15 часов назад

      Maybe Assad made poor decisions as far back as in 2018, with not modernizing his army. With the additional evolution of modern warfare last 2 years, the entire army was hopelessly outdated regardless. As shown in the defeat of fortifications between Idlib and Aleppo. Drones + Electronic warfare + Information warfare.
      Information from his intel apparatus likely also indicated the extent of corruption in the military rank, and that the army would break when push came to shove. In light of that, capitulation would be a more humane way to the same end result with less blood lost. Syria as a multi-cultural/tribal state didn't have what it took to stand up to external aggression. A long term failure of leadership that could not be fixed.

      I think he was under the delusion that somehow the western backed empty promises of others in the region, would keep him & Syria safe.
      He was said to not fully realize the precarious situation he was in until very late in the game.
      It seems bizarre but a well respected geopolitical analyst reported that. Pepe Escobar has an article on substack about it.

    I'm glad the Colonel made the statement about the proposed ceasefire, Nutty and the reply he got when he asked why to take the ceasefire. "We have something coming up and we'll be needing you." As the ceasefire was announced, the next day the uprising began.There are others who have commented on this aspect and they concluded that there was no connection, it was coincidence. I have no doubt that the Colonel's info is correct. Others have also commented that no one else besides HTS was aware of the op and that no one could have predicted this. This big a coincidence is just not likely, especially considering those involved. As to the issue of the collapse and the rapidity, I have to venture my own conclusion. The Arab league, filled with Israeli/US friends, has now been credited with bribing Syrian military officials. One was even deluded enough to believe he was protected, that he might even have a position afterwards. After a retreat was ordered, when he met the HTS in Aleppo in his home, he was killed. So, in my mind, those Arabs working with the US/Israel knew who was bought, to what extent and that they knew what was coming and that they enabled the SAA stand down and retreat. This is known also by the CIA who instigated and planned this. So, I have to believe that they had an idea this would go down this way...hence the need of Nutty to be ready. Israel was immediately launching attacks on the SAA to assist the 'rebels'. I also have to believe that Erdo knew as well, whether he was in on the plan or not. MIT is fully aware of the movements of these groups. The Turkish logistics at the time will have to be examined to know this. However, the statement he made that Damascus was the target seems to imply he has some knowledge of the scope of the movement. Which, seemingly, would indicate as well the expectations of said op. As Assad left Syria the day before, I believe that he was told to leave to save the lives of his family, that it would be a rapidly developing situation that he might not survive. The Colonel also says that the US is seeking chaos in the region. Once again, I am in full agreement. But he does not go far enough, as Russia is the eventual target. Is it really, once again, a coincidence that there are issues in Georgia? Iran has always been seen as the stepping stone to Russia proper, hence Iraq and Afghanistan as bookends. Having left Afghanistan, this was falling apart and there has been a move to hurry up, since Iran started to have political success in the area. Now Syria, stepping stone to Iran, is front and center, Iran's lifelines to the resistance compromised and Trump is returning to do even more for Israel. I don't see this as anything less than Greater Israel developing...and Russia's eventual demise. The only real questions are; will it be a fight...or capitulation? By who? Russia, Iran? Other commenters are saying Iran will kneel to be western friendly, that BRICS will likely die, Palestine will be a memory and Russia isolated. Then we can look at China...I hope these assessments are wrong.

    Colonel Wilkerson says there is no 'rhyme or reason' to the American policy of overthrowing the Syrian, Iraqi and other regimes in the vicinity of Israel. They are not a threat to United States national security. And their overthrow is not in the American national interest. So why the United States does these things puzzles Colonel Wilkerson and other commentators on this show. This is because they assume that the American government is being run by Americans. Based on this assumption it is true that American foreign policy makes no sense. However, when one understands that the American government is not run by Americans but is controlled by the Judeo Jesuit order whose goal is to establish the Communist New world order centered on the Vatican Rothschild axis of Rome and Jerusalem, American foreign policy makes perfect sense.

      I disagree that Jesuits, as flaky as a lot of them are, are behind any of these power moves. The Vatican is also not in the picture either. The Vatican has a fairly small influence on world politics. The Rothschilds and their ilk are more likely the culprits through their proxies, bribery and threats.

    @JudgeNap - De-designation of HTS as an FTO by US State Dpt? This is a somewhat lengthy process and will take time, do you agree? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the following:
    Section 219 of the INA (Designating Foreign Terrorist Organizations).
    Process for Removal:
    1. Review and Determination: The Secretary of State must review the group’s activities and determine whether it still meets the criteria for a terrorist organization.
    2. Notification to Congress: If the Secretary of State decides to remove a group from the FTO list, Congress must be notified. This starts a 60-day congressional review period during which members of Congress can review and object to the removal. The President can submit the decision for further scrutiny if necessary.
    3. The 60-day review period gives Congress an opportunity to block or approve the de-designation, but Congress does not have the final say on the removal. The removal will generally proceed unless Congress passes a joint resolution objecting to it.
    TYVM Judge!
